"Lilah' breathe. I need you to breathe. You've been preparing for this day a whole season on top of hosting another family. You will be fine."

Delilah looked at Daphne. Her hands were shaking. It was the morning of her wedding, minutes before the ceremony was to begin. She hadn't seen Anthony at all. Felicity and Daphne were with her alongside Kate. All three of the women were trying to calm the shaking woman.

She was happy. She was truly happy, today was everything she had been dreaming of for years. And yet, she was terrified. Why? What did she have to lose?

"Were you nervous?" Delilah asked, "Were you scared the day you married Simon?"

"Terrified." Daphne responded.

"Oh."

"Because when you love someone, and when you know you are marrying a soulmate, that adrenaline and fear of all the unknown is scary. But, it is worth it." Daphne said.

Delilah nodded her head. She had been planning vigorously. There were flowers lining the aisle. All of the guests - the whole ton on behalf of the queen attending - were all speaking excitedly. This was the wedding everyone was on the edge of their seats for. Daphne and the Duke was a grand wedding, even Williamson and Kate who had announced their engagement were getting whispers.

But, Delilah and Anthony. That set everyone ablaze. Minutes before everything, Delilah stood there in her white dress and veil and felt so beautiful and loved and nervous. But she knew she had nothing to be nervous about. This was the man she loved. The man she had dreamed of forever, there was no need to be scared.

Delilah smiled at the three women around them before they nodded and walked into the chapel. Delilah peered through the crack. Daphne went to sit with the Bridgerton family who held the two front rows on Anthonys side. Delilah could see him through the crack sitting with his family. He was handsome. He was so handsome.

Felicity went to sit with Williamson and Thomas on her side of the room. They made up her family section and she was grateful to have them there.

Kate went to sit next to her family but her eyes were on Williamson who was on the other side sitting in Delilah's family section. Just like Delilah had done at Simon's wedding, Williamson and his two siblings sat down on her side but left space for two.

Her parents. Her eyes teared slightly, but she had requested two seats be left. She knew in them were two white roses for the missing guests. But that was okay, because after the ceremony her and Anthony were going to visit them before the reception.

"You haven't changed at all. Still peering through the cracks, which couple are we judging today?"

Delilah looked back with a small smile at her only other piece of family, Simon. While she loved Williamson and his siblings, they were not the first. Simon had grown up with her, and Simon was and would always be the first brother she ever had. She thought it better that he be the one to walk her down the aisle. Be the one to give her away. Williamson hadn't objected either, he thought it would have been weird considering they were supposed to get married.

"Judging my own audience."

"How very kind, Lily."

Delilah smiled at Simon before straightening and taking hold of his outstretched arm. She was here. Her wedding. She heard the guests quiet down and the small patter of footsteps at the front of the church. Anthony was ready. And so was she.

She clutched onto Simon's arms as the door opened. And when she locked eyes on him. Everything faded.
