Delilah had ventured over to grab a drink when she overheard the Sharma sisters talking to one another.

"I don't know if I am familiar with that gentleman." The older one whispered.

Her sister looked up at her, "Who?"

The eldest pointed to Lord Aevery, "I believe he is a lord."

Delilah turned around and came next to them. "Hello, Delilah Silvester, nice to meet you both."

The Sharma sisters turned and smiled at her. The youngest curtsying before her and smiling, "Hello. I'm Edwina Sharma, pleasure." She introduced.

Delilah smiled at the younger girl, "It's a pleasure to meet you as well. I heard you talking about Lord Aevery, I was just curious."

"Oh, yes, I don't believe I've made an introduction." Edwina admitted.

"Of course." Her older sister said, "My mistake."

Delilah shook her head, "Nonsense, he's overrun by girls who are not nearly good enough. He has expectations for a suitor, however, I promise none of those girls would catch his attention. Perhaps the lovely debutante in front of me would find him acceptable."

The older sister smiled at her, "Kate Sharma."

"Delilah Silvester. Must I say, Miss. Sharma, you have quite an eye." She turned to the younger sibling.

"How so?" Edwina asked.

"Lord Aevery is wealthy, well-connected, and from a very good family. I'm sponsoring his season. He's hoping to marry this season, he may very well be our most eligible bachelor, indeed." Delilah explained.

"He is very handsome." Edwina fawned.

"Yes." Kate nodded. "I suppose he is."

"Well, good evening ladies, Lord Corning is coming and even though he is respectable. He is not Lord Aevery." Delilah bid her goodbye and made a smooth exit from the conversation.

"Well, he certainly is a dancer," Delilah commented, watching the new Lord Williamson Aevery.

Anthony nodded his head, "Yes, though I think we are better on the floor. Come, my love, let's give London a real show."

Delilah smiled at him, a rare genuine one that hadn't come in a while. It was so few and far between now that she felt at a peak. She took his hand not wanting to lose the fleeting emotion. And, just like that, everyone was reminded of the gliding feather.

Although, everyone remembered the dress she wore. For the Mama's, she was the younger version of Mary with her father's brunette hair. But Delilah had every one of her mothers features: her grace, her kindness, and attraction. That was her mother shining in her. Everyone smiled at the couple. They were the love match standing next to the Duke and Duchess of Hastings.

They were the Viscount and now Lady Silvester.

"It joys me to see you so happy. It feels like your smile is hard to come across these days, I miss it more than anything." Anthony whispered.

Delilah smiled sadly at him, "I am sorry."

Anthony shook his head, "It is nothing to be sorry for, I mean only that you are beautiful. And, I love your smile."

"I love you," Delilah whispered.

"And, I love you, Lady Delilah Silvester."
