(Okay, fine, I couldn't wait to reveal this stuff to you, so I posted these chapters on the same day. That's why this one might be super duper short, because I'm kinda pressed for time but I'm still gonna write this! Enjoy!)
(Sophie's POV)
When I saw Ro in the line of bodyguards, I wanted to run over to her and hug her, but Grady dragged me back. Ro went out, and I couldn't see anyone's reactions as they saw her, but I finally got the signal.
I peered through a window.
The window was stained glass, with a picture of Calla on it. I miss her...
Anyway, I got the signal, and as the wedding march played, I hooked my arm through Grady's and we walked down the aisle.
I noticed Ro was standing between Biana and Linh. I flashed her a smile before stepping onto the altar and taking Keefe's hands, staring into his much-too-pretty eyes as I smiled softly.
Just as we were about to start the vows, the doors to the church were thrown open.
I gasped when I saw who it was.
A giant crowd of hundreds of Neverseen members. Lady Gisela was at the front of the group. She threw down her hood with an evil smirk at her son.
"Ro, it's time to prove that you're one of us now." The entire crowd gasped at Gisela's words, but dread filled my stomach even more when she added, "So you must kill the moonlark or my son."
*IM SORRY! IM SORRY! I know, another stupid cliffhanger. I guess that's part of life, as a KOTLC fan.
Hope that was satisfactory. Or at least made you have goosebumps. Idk.
*Awkward silence*
