December had arrived and it was just random occurrences of snow every other hour. The first week of December had gone smoothly and the snow was piling, students were beginning to wear boots instead of the usual sneakers. Only Echo still wore her black chuck taylor high top converse, even if they got a little wet, they were usually dry.
“Hey Echo!” A voice hollered so she stopped then turned to spot a blonde jogging over to her only to slip. Widening her eyes she just continued to stand there slightly surprised, so she walked over to him and held out her hand.
“Are you alright?” She questioned now finally recognizing Dante.
“Yeah.” He winced while grasping her hand in thanks and used most of his strength to pull himself up. Once up he grinned towards her, “What brings you here?”
“Um” Echo was actually going to go visit Ed but it seems that her plans would change, “Just walking around.”
“In this weather?” He questioned while pulling on his hat onto his head.
“Um, only a short walk.” Echo nodded but noticed his skeptical expression.
“May I join you?”
"I suppose." She muttered with a shy smile actually flattered by him being so kind.
"So tell me about yourself, hobbies, any siblings?"
"I like to read and draw, and i have two elder brothers, how about you?"
"I like to walk" A small chuckle left his throat, "And i have no siblings, i'm an only child and live with my uncle."
"What about your parents?"
"They abondoned me at birth."
"I'm sorry." She blinked feeling guilty for even asking.
"It's alright, i didn't even know them, and i'm quite thankful it wasn't them who raised me" He smiled over to her, "My uncle has been like my own father throughout the years."
"Well that's good i suppose."
"Is there anything else about yourself?"
"Be more specific." Echo stepped over the curb as they crossed the curb nearing the park.

Ed sighed laying on his couch tiredly just letting his fingers twirl through his hair in a content mood but opened his closed eyes hearing obnoxious footsteps, “Classy . . .” He muttered watching her dance into the room .
“Yes?” She sang happy to be in her new body.
“How much longer is there going to be of this?”
“I don’t know” She hummed while spinning into a twirl, “It depends, hey, do you know if Echo will be here anytime soon?”
“Why?”
“I want her to see my new body!” Classy grinned while taking a pose.
“Well I just want her to come at all.” Ed sighed while stroking his fingers through his hair.
“I’m sure she’s just busy with work as usual.”
“I hope you’re right, because I don’t have a good feeling.”
"You never have a good feeling when she's not around." Classy crossed her arms with a quirked brow.
"I just worry."
"You worry more than a cheating wife." She commented and turned to walk out of the room.
"And you have the compassion of a dead rat."

Echo was quiet most of the time she walked with Dante, “So, how come I’ve never seen you around school before?”
“Because I try to stay out of everyone’s sight.” She simply replied while kicking the snow off her shoes.
“Why would you want to do that?”
“Because whenever someone sees me, all they see is my eyes.” Echo commented while glancing over to him.
“I don’t see anything wrong with your eyes.”
“Then you must be blind.”
“What do you mean?”
“Don’t you see” She fixed her bangs just in case, “I have Heterochromia.”
“So?”
“But-” She stopped and paused for a moment, “Wait.” Echo gave an unclear expression, she was confused.
“Hm?” He stopped and looked over to her.
“It . . .doesn’t matter to you?”
“Well of course not, it’s what matters on the inside.” He smiled over to her.

Alex yawned awakening from his nap and looked around the living room from the couch he laid on then found Andrew on the floor playing with legos.
“Good morning Sleeping Beauty.” Andrew smirked still stacking the legos to create a car for one of the Lego men.
“Where’s Echo?”
“I don’t know, probably hanging out with her guy friend.” Andrew prodded while setting the lego man into the lego car.
“What do you mean?”
“Well when ever she’s gone, she’s usually with that Ed guy.”
“I don’t like him.”
“I didn’t think so.”
“He just has that thing about him.”
“Thing?”
“I can’t explain it, it’s just whenever he’s around-”
“You can’t stop looking at him?”
“ . . .No.” Alex rolled his eyes then got up to sit next to Andrew.
“Then what?” Andrew spoke while observing a small blue lego.
“Evil.”
“You and your paranormal crap.” Andrew flicked the lego at Alex.
“It’s not crap!”
“I think it is.” Andrew stuck out his tongue and watched as Alex picked apart the lego car, “No! Lego man!” He exclaimed while lego man was thrown across the room.
“How dare you!” Andrew jumped for Alex and the two began to bicker; rolling around on the ground they were pulling at each other’s shirts and giving insults to each other like brothers do.

“Sometimes I think you plan these things.” Echo spoke as they wandered through the park.
“What do you mean?”
“You always say the right thing, and always say the right thing.”
“I just know what to say.”
“It’s kind of freaky.” Echo couldn’t help but smile already used to the ‘freaky’.
“If you like to think of it like that.”
“I guess.” She then went quiet and stopped walking noticing that Dante wasn’t next to her anymore, so she turned to look back then blinked not seeing him there. Then turning back; she screamed.
