Book:
The Clusters of Thoughts by Iamjustasapien

ANALYSIS

Plot: Humanity. The good, bad and ugly.

Characters: This being a poem has no fixed character in question.

Writing Style: Unlike other forms of poetry that rely on twisting words or beating around the bush to sound more "poetic", there is a very direct style used here. Instead of metaphors, similes are used (I.e Love feels like a rubber glove as opposed to Love is a rubber glove).

The first 3-4 poems don't follow a rhyme pattern while the subsequent ones do. Some aabb, others abab.

The poems are written as 4 lines to one stanza.

Themes: It varies per poem given that each one has its separate theme ranging from matters of the heart in contemporary grammar to old English way with words.

It is also stated at the end of each chapter with an explanation (very good thinking there).

Spelling and Vocabulary: Very sound and vast vocab going on here. Hardly any grammatical error in sight.

EVALUATION

Overall Impression: I love the dynamic simplicity of this work of art (forgive my oxymoron).

Strengths & Weaknesses: I only have good things to say. Keep it up. However, try not to over-word a sentence.

Recommendation: Just a suggestion, try your hand in a conversational poem (romantic) in a call and response format. And try reverse poetry that can read from top to bottom and vice versa.

Target Audience: Beautiful minds.
