The story is written in first person pov. Due to this reason, we see most of the story from one character's thoughts and worldview. The character in question doesn't assume other people's reactions, this way the reader has to imagine the hidden details left.

There were barely any spelling errors. The paragraphing and sentence construction are also very good.

Overall Impression:
The first chapter of the story gave me the impression of a hard-cover book. It feels like a published book. There is good pacing and story building.
The chapter coordination is quite followable. There are no unusual jumps or missing loops that cause confusion of any kind.
Strengths & Weaknesses:
The plot of the story is both a strength and a weakness. In the sense that, a rich and powerful dangerous male with a poor and struggling female is a troupe that is quite popular.
However, how you worked the plot is quite interesting, we can see that the female is self-reliant and willing to work with the male lead despite her assumptions bout him.
Recommendation:
I don't really have any recommendations. The story is quite good. Keep it up.
