Title: A piece of my soul
Author:Shattered_SilenceGenre: Poetry
Chapters: 1
Target Audience: 15-30A N. A. L. Y. S. I. S
Theme:
The themes of the poems range across journeys of life, friendship, family, important figures, and nature. But they all come down to the poet’s view of themselves and their life.
Writing Style:
There is no fixed group used throughout the entire book of poems. There is an aabb style, 4-line poem. Freestyle with one sentence repetition at the last line. Sometimes, there are movements from four to three lines.
Artistic figurative language is used, which has deep meanings. The poet is flexible with their writing style, despite the constant rhythm that can be seen.
Spellings and Vocabulary: 10/10
There are little to no spelling errors. Phrases and sentences are well-positioned.

Overall Impression:
I loved the addition of the author’s note at the end of each poem. It is refreshing to see explanations and the thought process that went into the birth of the poem. I would like to see more of that.
I’m also a fan of the titled chapters that give an insight into each poem.Strengths & Weaknesses:
The strength of the story is the diversity of topics that are shown to us by the poet. There is also a very personal feel to them that makes the reader feel like they are on a journey through the course of the poem.
Recommendation:
I would not want to constrain the artistic flexibility. However, I would advise to stick to one flow per poem. If it would be an aabb, let it flow from top to bottom. If it would be freestyle, let it be so from start to finish. Remember that poems have voices by which the reader would read them.
