Ivory let out a frustrated huff, her voice rising to a scream. "You have no right!"

Nahkai tried to intervene. "Please don't do this Ivory, I don't want you getting into any trouble because of me." He pleaded.

"No!" Ivory exclaimed, her determination growing stronger. "He needs to understand what a heartless person he is!"

Novak, taken aback, spoke up. "Excuse me?"

"You heard me," Ivory growled, her voice sharp. "Why are you trying to hog the spotlight and put your younger brother down on his birthday?"

"Ivory.." Nahkai muttered.

"And you dare to insult him?" Ivory continued, "Prince Nahkai is a thousand times better than you! He stays positive and does his best, unlike you. But you wouldn't understand that because in reality you're nothing but a big, fat, ugly jerk!"

Ivory's words echoed throughout the room, leaving Novak speechless. Ivory, realizing what she just did quickly covers her mouth and turns to Dapha.

"Did I really just yell at the prince?" She asked. "After saying I'd rather be a side character?"

"Yes!" Dapha said with a wide smile. "I can't believe it, I'm so proud!"

"Oh no." Ivory whispered. "Now I've done it, why do I always do it!"

"You insolent little.." Novak growled. "Do you think you're better than me!?" He yelled.

Novak's temper flared as he raised his hand in the air, ready to strike out at Ivory. But before he could swing, a gasp rippled through the room as Dapha extended her hand and pushed him back forcefully. Novak was dumbfounded, shock of what just happened as he sat there on the floor

"You... you pushed me." He sputtered, a look of disbelief on his face.

Dapha stepped forward, her expression unwavering. "I did," She said firmly. "And I'd do it again if you try to lay a hand on Ivory. Be glad I only pushed you."

"Dapha!" Ivory gasped. "Why did you do that!?"

"He was going to hit you." Dapha said, defensively. "My protectiveness went up!"

"Aw, Dapha, you're too kind." Ivory cried jumping into Dapha's arms.

Novaks face turns red in embarrassment. Everyone in the ballroom watched him get humbled by the two people he picked a fight with. "I'll tell father about this!" Novak yelled trying to scramble to get up."You and that filthy commoner will be severely punished, you won't live another day, say your prayers! And anyone who laughed, I will make sure your life is hell!" He screamed as ran out of the ballroom and slammed the door behind him.

"He's mad people were laughing? Looks like Valeth is in trouble too." Dapha joked motioning to Valeth in the crowd, covering his mouth attempting to hide his laugher.

"Ivory, Dapha, I am so sorry!" Nahkai exclaimed to the girls. "I should've said something but I didn't have the confidence, and now because of this you two will be in so much trouble.."

"No, it's not your fault, if you want to blame anyone blame me." Ivory sighed. "I've failed as a spectator."

"I don't really understand what you mean Ivory but my guilt is still heavy. My father isn't a very generous man even towards children."

"Please, don't feel quilty Nahkai, nobody deserves to be treated like that." Ivory said sweetly. "However, I think me and Dapha should take our leave, we don't want to cause anymore trouble."

"I supposed that's smart, it's really a shame though, I wanted you to stay longer." Nahkai said, feeling his mood go down.

"Yeah, sorry about that." Ivory awkwardly laughed. "But I have to go home, I want to say my prayers quickly." Ivory joked.
