Dapha flutters open her eyes, she sits up and takes a big stretch. "Is it morning already?" She yawns."No it's afternoon." A voice answers.
Dapha jumps and sharply turns her head. She sees her older sister Nyssa staring at her, sitting on top of her desk with her legs cross and her head leaning in her hand.
"What are you doing in here? It's already small as is and with you in here I feel like i'm suffocating." Dapha sarcastically said.
"Just be quiet, I've decided if you want to go to that party you're going to need to be taught some manners." Nyssa said as she got off the desk.
"Yeah well I wasn't the one who said I'd go, that was you." Dapha bluntly said crossing her arms.
"Well the details on who said it doesn't matter. What matters is that you're going to a formal event with no at home training!" Nyssa argued. "So get dressed and come downstairs, i'm going to teach you some manners." Nyssa said as she walked out the room and downstairs.

After Dapha finished getting ready she makes her way downstairs. "Are you still mad about the coins? Because if you're still mad at the coins I don't want you to take your anger out on me." Dapha asked.
"Don't worry, I've takin my anger out on Braine. He's my new punching bag." Nyssa says with a smile on her face.
"What cruel words to say with a smile." Dapha said shaking her head.
"Now Dapha take a seat." Nyssa says, tapping the empty chair. Dapha takes a seat in the empty chair and Nyssa sits across from her. Dapha looks down to see formal dinning set up of utensils, plates and cups.
"Nyssa I know how to use utensils, I'm not five you know." Dapha says placing her elbow on the table to hold up her head.
"Wrong!" Nyssa yells smacking the top of Dapha's head with a long stick.
"Ow! What's your deal?" Dapha exclaimed, holding her injured head.
"You don't put your elbows on the tables! It's improper." Nyssa replies. "Now, moving on to utensils, Dapha, you need to learn how to hold your fork correctly if you want to fit in with the nobility.
Nyssa's voice was calm and steady as she explained to Dapha the proper way to hold a fork. "Remember, the fork goes in the left hand," she instructed, "and you only use it to pick up your food."
'Yeah, clearly, what else would I use it for.' Dapha thought to herself, clearly bored. "Yeah Okay." She sighed.
Nyssa scoffed. "And trust me, you don't want to look like a peasant in front of the other nobles. You have to act and look like one of them, even if only for one night."
Dapha rolled her eyes. "Fine, teach me then." She said knowing there was no way out of this.
Nyssa began with the basics, showing Dapha how to hold her fork properly and how to cut her food with her knife. Dapha caught on very easily, after Sara showing her so many princess video games in her past life she pick up on their manners.
"So how do you know proper manners when you're also just a commoner." Dapha asked trying to talking about anything other than a spoon and how you should tilt it.
"Well, I did have a friend. We were just like you and Ivory, and he who was a noble." Nyssa answered.
"Really? What happened to him?" Dapha asked.
"Well he got engaged, and after that he never visited again!" Nyssa grumbled frustration evident in her voice. "Which is why you should never fall inlove with a noble! They'll leave you behind!" Nyssa yelled, pointing her knife at Dapha.
