Homesick

| 13 | Tea Party

Two days have passed since the suprise visits from Raine. During that time Ivory went over their plan as much as she could to really imprint it into Dapha's mind.

"I can't wait for the event to start! All the drama and tension!" Ivory exclaimed trembling with excitement. "You do remember the plan right?"

"For the thousand time yes." Dapha sighed. "First we get Nahkai, River, and Aurelia in one place. Then we'll bring up their engagement and anger River. Then they'll fight, something like that."

"Close, but you're missing some information."
Ivory said shaking her head. "So we have to compare the physical abilities of both of them and talk about how River would definitely loose in a fight before hand, and then while the tensions high I'll 'accidentally' bump Aurelia right into Prince Nahkai's arms."

"Honestly, this plan doesn't sound like it'll succeed at all." Dapha bluntly said.

"What! Well how else can we get them to fight?" Ivory asked putting her hands on her hips.

Dapha sighs and says. "I don't know, but I feel like if River really wanted to fight over Aurelia, he would've done it already."

"That's excalty why we need to push him off the edge, think of it as psychological comfort."

Dapha stares at Ivory likes she's insane, which she is. "Stop staring at me like that!" Ivory cried. "Can we just go to the party already."

"Woah, there are so many adults here. I thought since Aurelia was the host, the tea party would have more children." Ivory said looking in the crowd.

"I remember In the story Aurelia very popular with the adults. She barely had any female friends too." Dapha mumbled.

"Oh yeah, that's right. It makes sense, she mostly attracted male attention, and the girls used to bully her." Ivory explained. "But no more distractions, I'll find River and you find Aurelia and Prince Nahkai. We'll meet back up by those plants over there and begin our plan!" Ivory smiled pointing to some plants. Then she took off in the other direction in search of River.

"Yeah, yeah." Dapha mumbled. "Now where is the dessert table?"

"You made it!" A voice exclaimed.

"What-" Dapha was cut off by a hand that wrapped around her shoulder. She turned and saw Raine giving her a goofy smile.

"Oh, it's just you." Dapha sighed pushing Raine off. "You didn't really give me a choice, so I had to come."

"Don't be silly, I never said you had to come. Just if you didn't, something might've happened to your sister." Raine shrugged.

'He can't be real.' Dapha thought staring at Raine in disbelief. "Shouldn't you be bothering your brother right now?"

"I would but I cant find him, would you happened to know?" Raine asked putting his arm over her shoulder again.

"I wish," Dapha said without thinking. Realizing what she said she quickly covered her mouth. "I mean, I have no idea."

"Hmm.." Raine hummed. He then caught eye of Aurelia and Nahkai. "Nahkai! Aurelia! Come here!" He called out.

'Perfect, I don't have to search for them now.'

"Raine!" Nahkai exclaimed making his way over to the two. "Or are you River?"

"Not sure, would River call you over like I did?" Raine asked.

"Raine! Great to see you!" Nahkai smiled giving Raine a hug. "Though it hasn't been nearly as long as it was the last time. Oh and Dapha, it's wonderful to see you again aswell!"
