"It's a pleasure to meet you both." Aurelia said, sending a graceful curtsy to Ivory and Dapha. The girls quickly curtsied back in return. "The pleasure is ours." Ivory greeted with a smile.
"Yes, it's an honor to meet you as well," Dapha echoed. 'She's just a petite and pretty as they described her in the game.' She thought to herself.
"Hm?" Aurelia hums leaning towards Dapha. She stares at her as she got a little too close. "I know you! you're the girl that threw a rock at my carriage."
"What? What ever do you mean." Dapha stumbled, avoiding eye contact.
"The other day, I was going through town in my carriage and suddenly I heard a small rock hit my carriage. When I looked out of the window I saw a girl with very unique white hair, and that girl was you, arguing with my guard!"
"Oh? She was the rock kicker, how amusing!" Prince Nahkai interrupted. "A commoner that disrespected a nobles carriage."
"Well, it wasn't on purpose." Dapha said in a defensive tone. "And it definitely wasn't to disrespect the marquis, it was because that soldier was very rude." She said, nodding her head.
"Oh, so it's the soldiers fault? I don't think he meant any harm, he was only defending me." Aurelia mumbled.
"Are you sure? Because he did try to cut me down." Dapha spoke slightly raising her voice as she shrugging to keep her demeanor. "He could've been way more humane but he acted like a feral animal."
"Well I suppose.. I won't hold anything against you of course, but I can't control what my guard may try to do in the future." Aurelia smiled
'Is that supposed to make me feel better!?' Dapha thought to herself staring at Aurelia in disbelief.
"What are the chances that I'd get to meet you at this party! I always wondered what Aurelia was talking about when she mentioned a white haired commoner." Prince Nahkai interrupted with a laugh. "Tell me, what's your name, I just have to know."
"It's Dapha."
"What a unique name," Nahkai hums, "Though it has no direct meaning to it, it still rolls off the tongue."
"Think so?" Dapha awkwardly laughs.
"Of course, every name has a meaning, yet I've never heard of the name Dapha before. Which means you're meaningless!" He says bursting into laughter.
'Do these nobles not have filters? It's like they say whatever pops into their head without thinking of the consequences.' Dapha thinks to herself in disbelief.
"Prince Nahkai that was very rude. Have you forgotten all your manners?" A lady asked, most likely his maid, that stood behind the prince.
"It was? I was only speaking my mind," Nahkai said slunking his shoulders, and looking down at his feet as he spoke. "I'm sorry. It wasn't my intent to offend you with my words." He bowed.
Dapha waved a hand dismissively. "No worries, but please, don't bow to me. These nobles are giving me weird looks, since apparently they can't mind their own business." Dapha huffed glaring at the crowd.
"She means a royal shouldn't bow since she's not worthy of such praise." Ivory intervene. "Dapha, you have to be proper and ignore those side looks." She whispered.
"Oh right." Dapha whispered before turning back to Nahkai and saying. "Yes, I am not worthy of such praise."
"Wonderful I've been forgiven." Nahkai smiled clapping his hands. "But unfortunately I must go and greet the other guest." He sighs. "This was fun I'll have to see you two again later."
