It's finally the day of the trial both Nyssa and Ivory had two separate plans on how to get Dapha out of the kingdom but neither was guaranteed. But before Nyssa was able to tell Dapha about her plan Chimney called her down to the office.

"I thank you for not leaving yet," Chimney smiled as Nyssa walked into the office. "I just need to ask you a few questions to sort everything out."

"Of course, what would you like to know." Nyssa's asked, sitting in on of the chairs infront of Chimney's desk.

"I'd like to know where are your parents are currently?" Chimney asked.

"They're far away." Nyssa responded. "At least that's what I always tell Dapha, in reality they've passed away.

"I see, sorry for your loss." Chimney said with a sympathetic smile. "So, I'm correct that makes both you and Dapha are orphans."

"That's true, I am an orphan." Nyssa agreed. "But technically Dapha still has a mother, she just wants nothing to do with her."

"Dapha's mother is alive, but yours isn't?" Chimney asked clearly confused.

"Yes, I mean you can look at us and tell we are full siblings." Nyssa awkwardly laughed touching her black hair. "We have the same father but different mothers. After Dapha was born her mother wanted nothing to do with her or our family so she ran away."

"How cruel," Chimney said, shaking his head. "If you are going to abandon your daughter, then why even try and get pregnant it the first place."

"Something tells me she wasn't trying, I'm pretty sure Dapha was an accidental pregnancy."

"I see, this sure makes my plan a little more complicated." Chimney mumbled to himself.

"Your plan?" Nyssa repeated. "Does that mean that Dapha will be safe?"

"Sure does," Chimney smiled widely. "I'll have to be fast though, the trial starts in a few hours." Chimney said as he quickly got up from his chair and raced towards the door.

"Wait before you leave!" Nyssa called out. "Please don't bring this up to Dapha. She used to be really sensitive about this topic but after she got amnesia she completely forgot and I don't to bring up the bad memories.."

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." Chimney smiled, locking his lips with his hands.

"The trial is in a couple of hours ." Dapha mumbled nervously. "We haven't heard anything from your father, so should we leave or not?" Dapha asked Ivory.

"I don't know." She responded, holding a stick with a bag in it on the end. "Let's wait ten more minutes."

"And if he doesn't say anything?"Daphaadked nervously.

"Then we'll travel through the underground tunnels I told you about." Ivory mumbled. "It's the only way, it'll just be gross and very long. We may get lost."

"Right." Dapha said trying to prep herself for the trip.

She then noticed that Ivory was holding onto stick with a little bag on the end, and it went over her shoulder. "Why are you so motivated to becoming a wandering traveler?" She asked staring at it in disbelief.

"Because it's cool, obviously!" Ivory smiled hugging the stick. "I don't know why you aren't, you're using a backpack. Why are you so motivated to becoming a school girl?"

"Because it's way more convenient." Dapha smiled. "And now my arms are free to fight back any knights that try me!"

"Fight? Dapha they'll pick you up like a leaf." Ivory joked.
