| 16 | Nssya's "Friend"

It's the next morning since Dapha's went to town and she is exhausted. After all these events and meeting Keziah, all she wants to do is lay in her bed. And that's what she did well, until somebody came bursting in.

"Ivory! Let me sleep!" Dapha whined, hiding under her pillow.

"Why would I do that when I have very important news to share?" Ivory squealed, jumping on the bed.

Dapha came from under the pillow and gave Ivory an intrigued look. "What news?" She hummed.

"Aurelia invited us to her house!" Ivory grinned, handing Dapha an invitation. "Can you believe it? Because I can't!"

"She invited both of us? Or are you forcing me go." Dapha asked.

"She invited the both of us, it's shocking! I thought she hated you."

"I did too, but I guess not.." Dapha mumbled. "Do we have to go? I'd rather skip this event. And it's not like any of the male leads are going right?"

"Nope, just the three of us. She wrote she wanted a girls day."

"See this is what I mean, there's not drama happening so why would we need to go?" Dapha said falling back onto her soft bed. "Wake me up when it's noon."

"It is noon!" Ivory exclaimed, shaking Dapha's body. "We have to go, if we refuse, it would be considered rude." Ivory stated with an obvious tone. "Especially if you're a commoner."

"Fine," Dapha huffed. "Looks like I don't have a choice, so when is this hangout happening?"

"Next Thursday."

"That works, It'll be a good excuse for me not to town." Dapha admitted. "Everytime I go something annoying happens."

"Oh? Did something happen yesterday that you haven't told me about?" Ivory asked.

Dapha gave Ivory a skeptical look as she thought. 'I should probably tell her who I met, but that's such a hassle.'

"Come on spit it out." Ivory rushed.

"Fine, when I was lost in the alleyway I met a very clingy puppy." Dapha said, nodding her head.

"A puppy? Dapha I couldn't care less about that." Ivory bluntly said.

"Me either, especially that one, even though I showed how much I wanted to be left alone it still kept biting me."

"Ew, maybe you have rabies." Ivory said backing away.

"Anyways that puppy's name was Keziah." Dapha nonchalantly admitted.

"What!" Ivory explained. "Why wasn't that the first thing you told me!?"

"Because he reminded me of a puppy?"

"Did he hate you? Does he still hate nobles? Is he alive? Did you ruin the plot!?" Ivory asked.

"Um, no, yes, yes, and hopefully not." Dapha admits.

"Jeez Dapha, I'm going to have to start forbidding you from going to town." Ivory sighs.

"Atleast he's the last love intrest, so I can't ruin the plot by meeting anyone else." Dapha awkwardly says.

"I suppose you're right."

"Now can we get some strawberry cake?" Dapha asked, ignoring Ivory's comment. "Since I'm already awake, I just have to get some strawberry's in my stomach."

"Definitely, I'm starving too!" Ivory grinned. "Let's go to the dinning hall!"
