Dapha stretched her arms and let out a long yawn. "Morning already?" She muttered. "It was just nighttime." She turned her head to look around the room and saw Ivory sitting at her desk. 'Is that an illusion?' She asked herself still not fully awake. Ivory seemed very determined, her eyes were glued to a paper she was writing. 'Just my imagination.' She thought as she lied her head back onto the soft pillow.

"Good morning Dapha, well if you could call this morning." Ivory said, breaking the silence, her head never leaving the paper.

"Ivory!?" Dapha gasped jumping in surprise. "I thought you were an illusion, why are you in my room so early?"

"Writing to your fiancé." She said quickly. "And I wouldn't say it's early, it's almost afternoon."

"You sound like my sister." Dapha groaned slamming her head back into her pillow. The room was silent for a moment but she could hear subtle sounds of droplets. "Is it raining?" She asked looking out the window. It was raining hard outside, the garden was almost flooded.

"Sure is." Ivory said finally looking up from the paper. "It's been raining like that since two am. That's the time my father got home and he was drenched."

"For real? Sometimes I forget this world isn't always sunshine and rainbows." She mumbled.

"I don't know how, you're always staring death in the face." Ivory stated, with a small giggle. "Hm, what else should I write.."

"What are you writing again?" Dapha asked, walking towards Ivory.

"A letter to Raine." Ivory muttered. "Since someone won't write back to him, I'll have to do it."

"Can you blame me? He always wants to hang out, I've been telling him the same excuse that I'm sick but he won't stop writing me!" Dapha exclaimed. "Imagine I was actually sick, I wouldn't even have the energy to write back!"

"Have you even read his letters?"

"I stopped after the second one." Dapha admitted. "They're sitting in my drawer I'll read them eventually."

"Well.. I read the newest one and he's getting really worried. It's been almost three weeks and he still hasn't heard from you. I'm telling him that you're doing fine but caught the flu."

"That's good." Dapha smiled, clasping her hands. "Then he can't come over! I can guess he wouldn't want to catch the sickness. He'd never want his 'perfect' face to be covered in snot."

"Exactly, and maybe he won't be so worried." Ivory said with a slight smile.

Dapha's room door swung opened and in came Valeth. "I'm bored, whatcha guys doing." He asked plopping down on Dapha's bed.

"Don't you know about knocking? Or manners, It's not very proper to sit on my bed with your daytime clothes on." Dapha agrued, shooting a glare at Valeth.

"Whatever, I took of my shoes, what else do you want from me?" He groaned, making no move to get up.

"Ivory, why is that guy still here? Can't you tell your dad to kick him out!?" Dapha exclaimed, slamming her hands on the desk Ivory is sitting at.

"My father is way too nice for that." Ivory sighed looking up at Dapha. "Plus, the rain is really bad. He could get pneumonia."

"So? If he thinks everything is so boring maybe being in the hospital will be a nice turn of events." Dapha protested clearly annoyed.

"I can hear you, ya know." Valeth called out from the bed. "And the hospital is one of the most lamest place on the planet, I'd rather be in a library."
