The Intelligence Unit was the strongest pack within Chiagco; run by Alpha Hank Voight and his Omega Antonio Dawson, it was an unbreakable pack. The pack memebrs were all mated apart from the smallest Omega Jay Halstead who was the IT Tech of their small yet powerful pack.
"We have a new detective starting, Adam Ruzek, he's an Alpha" Hank said, his voice rough
"Better not start on me like that last one, I'll rip his throat out" Kevin growled, quietening when his Omega Dante Torres touched his wrist where his mate mark was
"Trust me, I won't be stepping on your toes like that" a new voice spoke, everyone looking up to see a blonde haired man stood at the top of the stairs
"Detective Ruzek" Hank said, nodding at the man
A small squeak from the corner of the room brought everyone's eyes to where a small body dressed in a sweater 2 sizes two big and a pair of jeans stood.
"You ok Jay?" Antonio asked, watching the small Omega who was clutching a file tightly to his chest
"I, er, I have this" Jay mumbled, shoving the file into Antonio's hands before scurrying out of the bull pen
"I'll go check on him" Antonio said, handing the file to Hank before walking out of the room down to where Jay's little office was
Antonio knocked on the door, opening it softly to see Jay sat in his chair mumbling to himself as he fiddled with a phone from a case that they had recently solved.
"You ok bud?" Antonio asked softly, sitting beside Jay
"Who was the new guy?" Jay asked quietly, hands trembling as he placed the phone down
"That's Adam, he's the new detective" Antonio said, keeping his voice soft
"He an Alpha?" Jay questioned shakily
"Yea kid, why, what's wrong?" Antonio asked
"My skins been tingling since I saw him, what does that mean?" Jay asked, looking at Antonio with tears in his eyes
"Buddy, I think he's maybe your mate" Antonio whispered
"No, no, he won't want a dirty Omega" Jay sniffled, pulling his chair away from Antonio and facing away from the older Omega
"Kid, you're not dirty, you were abused and forced into doing things you didn't want" Antonio said softly, walking closer and crouching between Jays legs
"I am Antonio, I let my dad and his friends fuck me, over and over again" Jay cried, leaning into Antonio who wrapped his arms around the small mans body
"You're not dirty, and if he's truly your Alpha, he won't care about that" Antonio whispered softly, kissing Jays forehead gently when the Omega pulled away
Jay only nodded, jumping as there was a knock on the door, and Antonio looked up to see his mate standing cautiously in the doorway.
"You ok kid?" Hank asked softly
"Adams his mate" Antonio said, holding one of Jays trembling hands in his
"Well that's brilliant kid, do you want me to go get him so you two can speak?" Hank asked softly
"No, please don't make me" Jay whimpered
"Ok, ok, but we need you in the Bull Pen, we have a new case" Hank said softly, smiling at the trembling Omega
"Ok" Jay whispered, wiping the tears from his eyes and standing up, grabbing his laptop before following his two superiors out of the room
Jay shuffled slowly behind them, stopping at Hailey's desk and standing beside the female Omega who had become his best friend in the last 2 years. The older woman, smiled softly at him and gently squeezed Jay's right hand before turning to listen to the briefing.
