Ethan was finally finished with his shift, he had been working a double and now all he wanted was to go home and sleep. He was off for next three days and had nothing planned apart from relaxing. Grabbing his bag, he stumbled as his phone fell out and lit up with a photo of his most memorable day; the day he married his husband, Jay Halstead.
The man was an ex Lieutenant in the Military Intelligence Unit, he had been in the military since he was 18 years old, and last year on his 24th birthday he had been medically discharged after an explosion had left him with injuries to his whole body.
It was how Ethan and Jay had met, they'd both been on active duty, and they had been together ever since. 10 years of dating, and then they had gotten married 8 years ago just after Ethan had decided he wanted a new career within the medical field.
Jay now worked in the police force, as an IT technician for the Intelligence Unit at the 21st district. Ethan was slowly seeing the old Jay creep back but the constant night terrors, the constant pain did sometimes overwhelm the younger.
The sound of his phone buzzing brought Ethan back to the room, and looking down he saw a text from Jay asking if he could pick up some on his way home. It made the older man smile at how domestic their life was now, he was sure that if you'd told him when he was 10 years old that he'd be happily married to his soul mate, he'd have laughed.
"Thought you had date night tonight?" a voice spoke, startling Ethan from his thoughts
"I do, I'm just grabbing my stuff" Ethan smiled, turning to see his brother in law, Will Halstead leaning against the doorway
"I'm going to Connors this weekend, so you'll have the whole apartment to yourselves" Will said, raising his eyebrows with a smirk
"William" Ethan laughed, shoving Will out the way as he walked out the break room
"What it's obvious what you guys are gonna do to celebrate your 8th anniversary" Will laughed, blushing when he realised how loud he said it as people in the ED stared
"William, leave him alone" a voice laughed, and the pair turned to see Wills fiancée Connor Rhodes stood behind them with a large smile on his face
"I'll see you guys later, Jays already home" Ethan smiled, his face red in embarrassment
"Use p-!" Will shouted, squealing as Connor slapped a hand over his mouth before he could finish the sentence
Ethan laughed as he walked out of the hospital towards his truck which was parked outside, he threw his stuff in the back seat before running round to the drivers side to start the journey home to his husband.
Usually their anniversaries meant going away first the week to somewhere quiter than the busy Chiagco city, however Jay was recovering from a pretty nasty panic attack, and they had decided to have a quiet weekend just to themselves in their own home.
"I'm home" Ethan spoke, throwing his stuff down in the hallway
"In here" a voice shouted, and it made Ethan frown as that definitely wasn't Jay
"Antonio, hey, what's up?" Ethan asked, glancing around and seeing no sign of his younger husband
"He's upstairs, he had a small panic at work today, he didn't want to be alone" Antonio explained, standing to shake the older mans hand
"How come he didn't ring me?" Ethan asked, leaning against the wall
"He didn't want to bother you, he was so excited about the long weekend you guys had planned, was scared he was going to ruin it" Antonio sighed, staying standing and grabbing his jacket and car keys
"He doesn't ruin anything, ever" Ethan sighed, following the Spainish detective out the living room and into the hallway
"Go remind him that, he's as stubborn as Hank, I swear their related somehow" Antonio laughed, opening the front door and waving goodbye to the doctor
Closing the front door, Ethan locked it up and wandered up the hallway to the bedroom that he and Jay shared. The door was open, and the older man leaned against the wall, looking at his husband who was sat shirtless on the bed fiddling with his wedding band.
"You're beautiful" Ethan said softly
"Hi" Jay sniffled, giving Ethan a shakey smile as the trauma doctor walked over and sat beside him
"Tonio said you had a hard day?" Ethan questioned, pulling Jay to lean against his side
"Yea, Hailey was all over me again, kept making little comments about my scars and it doesn't help that the case we've got is military too" Jay said quietly, his head now resting on Ethans shoulder
"She needs to mind her business" Ethan replied, shifting his body so he was laying down and Jay was cuddled up beside him
"She's getting loaned out to New York PD for the next few weeks, so I don't have to worry about her" Jay admitted, pressing kisses to Ethans neck
"Forget about work for the next three days, it's about us and only us" Ethan whispered, rolling over to stand up
"8 years of us" Jay smiled, also standing and laughing when Ethan pulled him by his belt loops
so they were chest to chest
Ethan looked at Jay, reminding himself of all the younger mans scars there faded but still visible if close enough. His left hand came up to brush a stray hair from Jays face, his hand coming back to rest on the younger mans waist.
"So beautiful" Ethan whispered, looking into Jays sky blue eyes
"Says you, you get more and more beautiful the more I look at you" Jay blushed
"Want to hear my plans for you over the next three days?" Ethan asked, hands moving to grip Jays plump behind
"Y-Yea" Jay stuttered, blushing hard
"Well, tonight we are starting with a shower and a takeaway of your choice, tomorrow breakfast in bed and then I'll fuck you deep in to the mattress but you're not allowed to cum until I say, then I'll make lunch, and then I'll make love to you in the place of your choice, and on Sunday, we'll have a lie in and you can choose between rough sex in bed or I can fuck you gently in multiple places and milk you dry" Ethan said huskily, whispering his plans in Jays ear, chuckling softly as he felt Jays erection beginning to grow as he spoke
"Ethan, please" Jay moaned, letting his head drop onto the older mans shoulder
"I know baby, trust me, by Monday you'll be all fucked out" Ethan said, kissing Jay harshly while tightening his grip on the mans bum
"When do we start?" Jay asked, his eyes filled with lust and excitment
"Now if you want, you remember the colour system?" Ethan asked, stepping back so he could make proper eye contact with Jay
"Green for all good, Amber for slow down and Red for complete stop" Jay said, his voice shakey with adrenaline
"Good boy, now strip for me please" Ethan smiled, throwing his own tshirt off and pullimg his scrub pants and underwear down so he stood naked in the bedroom
Jay blushed as he pulled his own jeans and underwear down, his erection standing upright against his stomach. Ethan wandered over and pulled Jay into his arms, both men moaning as their cocks rubbed against each other.
