Chapter 8

Maddison

I woke up in an unfamiliar room in someones arms. I looked up to see Jamie sound asleep, her hair was messed up and I thought it was really cute. I didn't want to wake her up, but we did have school.

"Hey, Jamie. We have to get up for school." I stayed in her arms while her blue eyes peaked through and she rubbed her eyes with her free hand. Her arms were pretty tanned and muscled, I never really saw that as she always wore baggy shirts which sort of hid that.

"Hmm, i'm tired give me 10 more minutes." She pulled me closer into her arms as I laughed at her. 

"I'll give you 5 minutes." As I said that I put my head on her chest, I could hear her heartbeat as I closed my eyes.

A couple minutes went by so I got up just in case she said "5 more minutes". She looked at me with a pout, I laughed a bit and smiled.

"Come on, lets go. We might be late." I tried pulling her out of bed, but I wasn't strong.

"Fine fine fine, you can borrow whatever clothes in my closet." I nodded and went to look for clothes. Her stuff was a bit bigger on me so I took a pair of black sweat shorts and plain white t-shirt. The shorts fit pretty well but the shirt was quite big on me. 

I came out of the washroom to see Jamie wearing a loose fitted grey jeans and dark blue long sleeved shirt. I looked around her room which was pretty clean for the most part, there was quite a few Spider-man stuff such as a poster, Funko's, and a round pillow on her bed. I thought it was adorable how much she liked him, he was one of my favourite superhero's as well.

We were a bit later so we hurried to get in her car and drive to school. After she parked she went to her friends who started to playfully push Jamie around, I thought they all had a very sweet friendship so I started smiling. My lips turned into a frown as I was stopped by Alisa.

"What are you doing here Alisa, aren't you suspended?" I tried pulling her aside so that Jamie and the others wouldn't see her.

"Are you serious, you came with the weirdo." Why was she upset, I should be the one getting mad at her.

"She's not a weirdo, Jamie is understanding and a kind person. She's a better person than you are." As I was about to turn around she was so mad that she need to say one more thing.

"Are you fucking gay for her?! Did you turn into a freak too and started liking her?? Are you getting fucked by her male parts?" I turned around seeing her with a smug face like she did something.

"Jamie and I's relationship is none of your business and if I was she's probably good at it." I was so done with her bullshit that I smiled at her then just left her there as she kept yelling random things at me.

Jamie

I was talking with my friends after they teased my about coming to school with Maddison. I was smitten about everything, it was a dream come true. I caught a glimpse of her walking into the school upset, I wonder why but I couldn't ask since I had to go to my first class.

After two boring classes my friends and I were walking to the field so we could eat there for lunch. I only ate some chips from the cafeteria's vending machine since I wasn't too hungry. We sat in a circle talking about all sorts of stuff until a shadow was hovering over me. I looked up to see Maddison greeting me with a warm smile.

"Is it ok if I sit with you guys for lunch?" Maddison looked up to look at everyone as she was holding a binder and lunch.

"Yeah of course, you're welcome to anytime." Zack answered her as he made room between me and him for her.

As she sat down beside her everybody started talking and eating again. We were all laughing and having fun, it was also sunny which added to the great evening. After awhile we all went our separate ways to get to our classes. I went to my locker to get my books, once I closed my locker Maddison was standing there with a wide smile. It shocked me a bit but I smiled and laughed a bit.

"Wanna walk to socials class together?" She leaned against the lockers and I nodded. Walking with her gave me this knot in my stomach that I knew very well.

"So are you nervous about presenting?" I turned around to face her while she was already look at me.

"Not really, we practiced a lot and we looked over it a lot so I think we'll do good. Plus i'm doing it with you." I smiled at her and so did Maddison while her cheeks had a tint of red.

We entered the classroom and sat our desks while waiting to present. A couple minutes went by and it was our turn.

After our presentation I thought that we did really well and we gave each other a high-five, usually my heart would be beating so fast but since I was with Maddison I felt at ease. Mr. M looked proud and gave me a thumbs up which made me happy. The rest of the day went by quickly since it was just presentations.

Once class was over Maddison and I walked together until we went in different directions, she gave me a hug goodbye and kissed by cheek. No way... Best day ever. Joseph saw our interaction and was so happy that he was pushing me while jumping up and down.

"Stop!! I can't, that was so cute. She went on her tippy toes, please get together!" I was covering my face as I was embarrassed of how much I was blushing. Definitely gonna think about this later. She makes my day and I really hope that we might have something together.

When I got home I started blushing once again when I received a text.

Night Madi sleep well

Fuck this girl is killing me, but I can't wait to see her tomorrow and finally hangout just the two of us. I felt myself getting gitty over texting Maddison, even messaging her made me nervous and joyful.

Maddison

I enjoyed Jamie calling me Madi, it was a cute nickname and it gained a smile from me. Her words were sweet and charming. She was really fun to be around yesterday at lunch, I felt excited to hangout with her but i'm not sure why I was also little scared too.
