Ord Mantell

Under the silvered glow of Ord Mantell's moon, the 501st Legion executed a nighttime assault on a hidden Separatist research facility. As the LAAT gunships descended from the starlit sky, their engines muted to avoid detection, the tension among the clones and Jedi was palpable. Anakin's voice cut through the silence over the comm channels,

"Stay sharp, everyone. We're moving fast and hitting hard."

Nikki nodded, her two purple lightsabers igniting with a soft hum as she gestured for her team to advance through the rugged terrain. Nikki scanned the shadows,

"Jesse, keep us updated on enemy movements,"

"You got it, General,"

Meanwhile, Cal and Rex's squad maneuvered from another angle, their approach marked by sporadic blaster fire as they encountered and neutralized pockets of droid patrols. Cal glanced behind him as he blocked another blaster bolt,

"Kix, any updates on the facility's defenses?"

Kix nodded as he glanced at the data pad in his hands,

"Turrets on the east wing. Droid patrols sweeping the perimeter."

Hardcase grinned under his helmet,

"Sounds like they're expecting us. Let's give 'em a welcome they won't forget!"

With a nod from Cal, Hardcase and Denal took up positions to cover the team's flank. Their blaster fire hit every target as they engaged incoming droid forces. The night air crackled with energy as blaster bolts streaked through the darkness, painting the landscape in flashes of red and green.

Inside the facility, Nikki's team encountered fierce resistance as they pressed deeper into enemy territory. Battle droids emerged from every corner, their mechanical voices echoing off the narrow walls as blaster bolts flew.

"Watch your backs!"

Nikki's lightsabers were a blur of purple as she deflected incoming fire.

"Focus on the droid command center!"

Kano nodded,

"Can't back down now boys!"

Mixer lobbed a thermal detonator that detonated with a deafening blast, clearing a path for their advance. Nikki led the charge, her lightsabers cutting through droids with precision. The clash of metal and the hiss of energy filled the narrow corridors, each step bringing them closer to their objective.

Outside, Cal's squad faced an onslaught of droid reinforcements. Rex barked orders, his blasters never ceasing,

"Hardcase, Denal, cover the flanks! We can't let them surround us!"

Blaster fire rained down on them, forcing the clones to take cover behind the sparse vegetation and rocky outcrops. Cal's lightsabers were a beacon in the darkness, cutting down any droids that dared approach. The ground shook as an explosion erupted nearby, a turret destroyed by Hardcase's precise shot.

"We're almost at the main control room!"

As Cal breached the facility's main control room, he used the Force to disable security systems and unlock sealed doors, allowing his team to progress deeper into the heart of the enemy stronghold. The scent of ozone and the hum of machinery filled the air, a stark contrast to the natural beauty of Ord Mantell's moonlit landscape.

"Kix, locate the data center,"

Kix, focused on his datapad amidst the chaos, nodded with determination,

"Found it, General Axel. Transmitting coordinates now."

Cal and his team retrieved the first half of the crucial intelligence while maintaining a defensive perimeter against relentless enemy attacks. The sound of blaster fire intensified as Separatist forces mounted a desperate counteroffensive,

"Hold this position! We secure this intel at all costs!"

"Denal, cover me!"

Together, they unleashed a barrage of grenades and blaster fire that sent droids flying in all directions. Their coordinated efforts ensured the safety of their fellow troopers and Jedi within the facility.

Back inside, Nikki coordinated her team's withdrawal as they secured the second half of the data from the facility's compromised systems. With the mission objectives achieved, she signaled for extraction,

"Hawk, we're ready for pickup. Bring the gunship to our location."

Hawk's voice crackled over the comm in acknowledgment,

"Copy that, General Sora. ETA two minutes."

The team made a hasty retreat, the echoes of battle trailing behind them. Nikki led her squad through the labyrinthine corridors, her lightsabers carving a path through any droids that dared to block their way. The hum of engines grew louder as they neared the extraction point.

As the 501st Legion convened at the coordinates, Anakin walked over to Nikki and Cal, wiping sweat from his brow,

"Well, this was a success for a first mission together,"

Nikki smirked while she deactivated her lightsabers,

"And to many more, Skywalker,"

She glanced at Cal with a smirk, and he nodded,

"To many more,"

Their moment of triumph was interrupted by the distant sound of more droids approaching. Anakin's expression turned serious,

"We're not done yet. Everyone, prepare for immediate evacuation!"

The Jedi quickly reignited their lightsabers. The clones and Jedi formed a defensive perimeter as the LAAT gunships descended, their doors open and ready for boarding. Blaster fire erupted anew as the droids launched a final assault, determined to reclaim the stolen data. Rex's blasters laid down cover fire as his men boarded the gunships,

"Move! Get on the ships!"

Nikki deflected a volley of blaster bolts, her movements a blur of speed and precision,

"We're almost there! Keep pushing!"

Cal used the Force to hurl a group of droids away, creating a brief window of opportunity,

"Sora, go! I'll cover the rear!"

Nikki nodded, leading her team onto the nearest gunship,

"Everyone, get on board!"

As the last of the clones and Jedi scrambled onto the gunships, the pilots lifted off, engines roaring to life. Blaster bolts chased them into the sky, but the gunships quickly outpaced the droid forces. Inside, the team took a moment to catch their breath, the adrenaline of battle slowly ebbing away. Anakin leaned back, a satisfied grin on his face,

"Now that's how you make an entrance."

Nikki and Cal laughed and nodded,

"Yes, it truly is,"
