You have just moved to Franklin County, Florida with your mom. She wanted to start a new life away from her old husband. You are about to start 8th grade at a new school. It's summer, and you've started working at a summer daycare to earn some extra cash. You're good with kids, so the job is going smoothly. Back at your old school, you had a decent reputation as a good student, but also tended to get in trouble, which didn't bother you or your mom. Your mom, who had you at the age of 13 and was a troubled kid herself, is rarely home due to her job and prefers partying over spending time with her 14-year-old daughter. Due to her mother's young age and absence, you have become quite mature for your age and can't wait to turn 18 and move out.
