Closer To The Stars With You [shuji x reader]

1. New start

It was your first night at your new house. The house seemed pretty normal - you had a room upstairs with a big closet and a bathroom. You had unpacked a few boxes and started getting ready for bed as it was pretty late. You had spent the whole day helping your mom unpack every room but yours.

"I guess I'm gonna have to unpack the rest in the morning,"

you said while getting your PJs out of your suitcase.

you woke up due to the hot sun shining into your new room, you stood up and went into your bathroom to wash your face and teeth. you were done and got to unpack the rest of your stuff and start to decorate your room.

As you finished you looked around proudly and went downstairs to check if your mom was up yet and to eat breakfast. To your surprise she was AND she was making pancakes?!

''damm what's going on here Mom''

Your mom turned around and said

'' Oh come on can't I make breakfast for my daughter?''

'' well didn't say that it was just surprising for you to do it''

you mumble at the end.

'' look I know I don't do much for you and with you but it's going to change now ''

she said placing a plate with pancakes on it

'' cool''

you responded 'sure shes gonna do ' you thought to yourself while rolling your eyes.

After you finished your food you went back to your room. And changed your clothes to go out and check out the area

You put a bit of light make up on and run down stairs while screaming

"BYE MOM IM GOING OUT FOR A BIT"

" OKAY BYE"

She screamed back as I walkt out the door. I just went straight on the side walk with my music playing. I soon walked to some shops and saw a pin wall with jobs for students. "Nice I can get extra cash" I thought and took the numbers of a few places. But one really caught my eye it's a summer daycare they need a few people to help out. "I'm pretty good with kids that schuld not be that hard" I thought while Dalling out the number to call the place.

(Time skip)

I got the job, that call was like 2 minutes long.

"Damm I guess they really need people cuz they would take anyone"

I said to myself while walking in the direction of my house. When I finally got home I saw a paper on the door,
'For y/n -mom'

"Great" I mumble when I start reading it
'hey honey I'm going out to meet some new friends, don't worry about me love ya -mom'

"Shes gonna change I see" I say while opening the front door and walking upstairs into my room. I start working on Monday so I have 4 more days to do nothing great. " hmm how much are they even paying me" I said " huh well were gonna see I guess" 2 weeks off work and then I start school. Hopefully there are some normal people there. I change into my pjs again and lay on my bed and read a book until I fall asleep.

he next four days I spend reading and listening to music, or playing video games. I didn't have much to do and mom was home for like one night so I couldn't do anything with her either.
