The day rushed in with Yoohyeon as the doors to the emergency room opened, all clatter and bustle and fuss; Just like her thoughts for the entire week. She wasn't sure if her brain could take it anymore. The pressure of being an intern of the surgeon world was more than enough, but now, she also had to stress about the chief's project. And she still had gotten no idea of how she was even chosen to be a part of it.

Because of it, working under her resident had become even less fun. Her resident was just really strict and completely different from Minji. But she was the one who would eventually evaluate her as well so she couldn't just abandon that work.

And that was the exact moment the doors were opened by her resident, a pile of documents in her hands as she roamed her eyes from her thick glasses over the room, calling for her interns, her voice emerging high and rigid. Yoohyeon rose from the chair and moved away from the patient with an apology, leaving them with another doctor while approaching her resident, who definitely had something to say.

Her voice sounded a bit uninterested and annoyed. She hadn't agreed to lose a few of her interns to Minji's project but who was she to go against the chief? She chucked some files at the lucky interns, looking at them. "You all need some standard nursing experience. Those are a few patients you can add to your routine." It was an idea from Minji that she just had to inform them about.

Yoohyeon looked down at her own patients list, seeing a few names written down and their charts below them. She chewed on her lower lip, her eyebrows rising up as the resident started speaking again, explaining exactly what to do and which doctors they would have to work with.

The first thought that arrived in Yoohyeon's head was: great, more work! But then she realized that she should see this as an opportunity to demonstrate and actually upgrade her skills.

None of the patients seemed to be high maintenance and it was just a nursing task anyway. Nothing she wouldn't be able to do. Only the last name on her list was unfortunately familiar.

Gahyeon. Gahyeon Kim. Where has she heard it from? She couldn't quite remember. In the end, she just shook the thought away as her resident was clearly trying to bring her back to earth by shouting at her to go and start checking on the patients. So she nodded her head and with a quiet apology, left the room quickly.

As expected the tasks were quite simple and most of them just required her to be friendly and answer some of the patients' questions. Being a nurse wasn't what she liked doing the most but it did give her some satisfaction. So going to the last person on her list was something she did with a smile.

She entered the room, her mind at ease, her smile relaxed, as she greeted the patient without looking up from the chart.

"Miss Kim?"

"Did you walk into the wrong room again?" A young voice asked, sounding a little bit teasing. "Or did you actually need to be here this time and say the right name?"

Yoohyeon jerked her head up from the paper, feeling the blood drain from her face as she caught a glimpse of who she was standing in front of. She remembered then, clearly recollected the first time she walked into this room, mistaking the patients and not being so professional while trying to hide from her resident. "Oh my god, the doctor-Siyeon-hater!" She said then, hand on her chest in surprise.

Gahyeon couldn't help but chuckle at the weird nickname. Out of everything she could've remembered her by, of course, that needed to be the standout feature Yoohyeon remembered. "I don't hate her anymore... But I'm not obsessed like you either"
