Andito na kami sa bahay namin at kakain na kami ng tanghalian since kaka uwi lang namin from Sunday service. Back to being chaotic na naman, andito buong pamilya namin. My mom and dad together with my older brother Kuya Bryan and his wife ate Kira and my younger sister Christine.
"Ate can you please abot the rice and pati narin yung Shanghai, apatin mo na yung Shanghai ha" Thank you!
"Takaw naman ni bunso kala mo naman uubusan ng Shanghai!!" Natatawang sabi ni papa.
We ate lunch happily, nag kwentuhan about nangyayari sa restaurant business ni kuya. I hope magka anak na sila ni Ate Kira ng may pagkaka busyhan narin sila mama at papa kasi alam ko namimiss na nila kami wala na kasing batang makukulit sa bahay.
"Aiah anak, pabalik kana pala ng Manila bukas, mamimiss ka namin dito sa bahay lalo na ni bunso". I was expecting this from mom since she's too emotional, she loves us so dearly and at ayaw niyang lumayo kaming mga anak niya.
Mom always told me to just work here in Cebu, I love Cebu naman, Proud to be bisaya oyy!! However, my career is in Manila na eh, I love working as a journalist in one of the nation's biggest TV station and part time ko rin ang pag momodel as well as TV commercials.
My family are very supportive when it comes to the path that I chose, my mom and dad visits me in Manila from time to time pati narin sila kuya.
"Aiahkins umayos ka dun sa Manila ha, tatawag ka at uupdate mo kami" Here's kuya being the overprotective one!
"Ate ha nakita ko kanina yung tininginan ninyo ni kuya Jeremy, jowa mo na ba? Diba kailangan yan ipagpa alam kina Mama at kina Pastor?"
"Ikaw talaga apaka tsismosa mo, anong jowa jowa? Di man gud oyy!!
I know my family and some of the members think we're together pano ba naman lagi kaming magka sama. I can't help them think that way, si Jeremy na bahala sa mga tsismis ng mga tao sa simbahan.
Natapos narin kaming kumain at tinutulungan ko si Christine maghugas ng pinag kainan namin. "Ikaw napakamalisyosa mo din noh, Jeremy and I are friends" Inis kong sabi sa kanya. "Nukaba ate dun nadin papunta yun halata naman gustong gusto ka ni kuya Jeremy kaso alam mo na ipagpapa alam kapa nyan sa lahat ng tao sa simbahan" Tawang tawa na sabi ni Christine.
Yeah I know this might sound weird, that's the way our church works, if you would like to court someone you need to ask permission first to our home Pastor and the parents of course. Approval first before landi.
