Flashback Year 2020
We're very busy today preparing for my gallery's opening, mag bubukas na kami in two days. I started cleaning and arranging my artworks, for my art exhibit. I'm a bit nervous, thinking if people would love my paintings, if my family and friends would be proud.
I poured my heart out sa project kong ito and I'm thankful that my loved ones are very supportive sa pinili kong career. I'm an artist and an entrepreneur may coffee shop kami sa may Cubao ng mga kaibigan ko. Maloi and Gwen manage the coffee shop most of the time.
I'm thankful for my parents not pressuring me to be active at maging parte sa family business namin they know that it's not were my heart is.
"Can you please check the area if ok na ba ang lightings, I want this exhibit to be perfect alam niyo naman marami tayong guests na darating". Pressure is kicking in, and I don't want it to overpower me. Marami kaming kailangan gawin at tapusin bago ang exhibit this Sunday.
"Let's call it a day team, thank you so much for the hard work at oras na inilaan niyo sa gallery, I could not make it without you guys".
"Walang anuman Mikhs, lahat gagawin namin to help you sa launching mo this Sunday". Your success is our success too.
Masaya at proud na sabi ng secretary kong si Stacey.
Staks has been with us for so long di ko na maalala, scholar siya ni daddy nung college at dad absorbed her to be part sa company namin hanggang eto na she's my secretary.
"Thank you so much Staks, sama kaba sakin? Daan lang ako sa coffee shop namiss ko lang kasi ang ambiance dun pampatanggal nadin ng stress". Inaya ko si Stacey di narin bago sa kanya ang coffee shop, masasabi ko na isa narin siya sa matalik kong kaibigan. Stacey nodded in agreement at lumabas na kami patungong parking lot. "I'll drive na Mikhs alam ko pagod ka eh".
We arrived at the coffee shop and they greeted us cheerfully. I hugged and kissed my friends since I missed them, haven't seen them in awhile dahil sa preparations ko sa gallery.
"Napadaan kayo Mikhs at Staks? Namiss mo kami noh? How's the gallery? Excited pa naman kami this Sunday. Mga tao lang natin maiiwan dito kasi susuportahan ka namin sa launching mo". Maloi was the one whoe greeted us at the entrance nasa loob kasi si Gwen, siya kasi sa food handling kasi graduate din naman siya ng culinary.
"Nakaka tanggal stress talaga dito sa coffee shop natin. I'm glad dumaan ako dito today!!
