MAYA

I stretched my arms and wait where am I? I opened my eyes and wow I mean just great I'm on the floor I mean my legs are on the sofa and my upper body is dangling down. This is the most comfortable position to sleep *period*. I stood up and looked towards the bed and it was empty. I guess he woke up early. I looked towards the clock and what it showed 10 am.

I woke up more late than yesterday and I'm dead. I rushed towards the bathroom and did my business but what should I wear? Luckily I had a maroon anarkali which was gifted by Sitara. I quickly wore that and left my hairs open. I adjusted my nuptial chain and filled my partition with vermillion. I know that filling vermillion holds so much emotion for a married woman.

As soon as I got ready, I hurried towards the dinning area and everyone was seated on there places on the dinning table. I went towards Maa and was about to apologise for my carelessness of waking up late but before I could speak she interrupted "Beta you don't need to apologise it's ok, the breakfast is ready and yes today Rakesh bhaisab and Kajal will be coming with Avinash and Abhishek" I looked at her with confused gaze I don't know who they where "Maa but who are they do I know them?" Maa bite her tongue and chuckled "Sorry I forgot to tell you they are Advait's chacha-chachi and there kids." I shook my head "But why were they not at the wedding and do they live here?" Maa got quiet for a while along with everyone else present at the dinning hall but Advait was nowhere to be seen. I shrugged that thought away. Maa took a deep breath and looked at Paa. He abruptly stood up and left the hall. Then Maa turned towards me and spoke "There have been a misunderstanding between the brothers so they are not on the good terms with each other but don't worry beside them us all are comfortable among each other and the truth between them is only known by Advait rest all of us are clueless about it and about the wedding they all went to kedarnath as his chacha didn't wanted to attend the wedding because of this family tension." Wow for the first time Advait is not clueless about something that's new otherwise he acts so *dumb*.

With this I sat down to have idli wow after so long I'm gonna have coconut chutney and sambar. It was a heavy breakfast unlike my usual one's but it's tasty and that's what matters. "Maa where is Advait?" I asked, and immediately Vivaan gave me a teasing smile "Waa bhabhisa ek din hua nahi ke bhaisa ke yaad bhi aane lag gayi" I gave him an angry glare.

"Vivaan dekho hame tang maat Karo varna..." "Varna ky karenge bhai ko bolenge?" Anika interrupted raising her eyebrows teasingly at me, I huffed looking at the duo.

"You both stop teasing my daughter, Maya Advait went to the airport to pick up his Chacha and others." I nodded my head and Maa told me to get some rest so that I could attend the reception with a fresh face.

I walked towards the stairs that's when I heard the voice of Advait I rushed towards the living room and there stood a man in his 60s and a woman in her early 50s and two young boys around Vivaan's age. I went near them and they acknowledged my presence and the women I assume to be Kajal Chachi walked towards me and caressed my cheeks lovingly "Kinni soni kudi hi ye badi pyaari hai" I bend down and took her blessing ok is she punjabi I will definitely ask her afterwards and walked towards Chachaji and also took his blessings he patted my hairs and smiled wholeheartedly at me. Later the boys shook hands with me.

Beside them was standing my handsome husband all dressed in a hoodie that's cute. Wait, when did you think of him as handsome and cute? My subconscious mocked me. Maa came towards chachi and hugged her "Kajal this is maya our Advait's wife and the newest daughter of our home" I smiled at the words of Maa she introduced me as the daughter not as the daughter-in-law. Later Maa turned towards me "Maya this is our Kajal she is also your Maa and Ramesh bhaisab is also like your Paa the grudges he helds is only against my husband rest all of us are not involved in their issues'' I nodded at her "But if he held no grudges against us then why didn't he attended wedding?"
