Advait

The reception was tiring because of the news Anika spilled. At first I was not at all happy with her dating anyone. But then Maya made us all understand Anika's point of view. Vivaan was acting stubborn but yeah my wife got him to agree with it. And soon it was time to wrap it up. It was decided that me and Maya will be returning home together and I was going to drive. But one thing was nagging me up, the way she smiled at my best friend and my brother, I mean she never gave me that smile.
 
She always frowns at me.

We always ended up fighting for one or the other reason.

But a tug in my heart wanted her to smile at me with all the warmth she held within herself.

Like how will she look when she smiles at me, will her face lit up, will she get shy, will her cheeks turn red as they are now.

I was also amazed at how her parents hid her from the whole world for so long. 

I mean she is a sunshine, she can make a dead person alive, that's the aura she holds.

I didn't see one single photo of her in her whole house, not even her bedroom. It seemed as if she never existed, I was confused about all this but it's not my place to say anything.

And it was not that I will spend a lifetime with her, it's just a matter of one year. 

As we were driving back home she made me stop in my tracks. 

fuck! 

That was so good like my whole body gave up just at her one word and that too *my name*. 

I never felt so good when someone called me out but the moment my name rolled off her tongue made me halt.

I don't know but I just stopped my car the very moment because my heart was beating as if I sprinted 10 metres straight.

The greatest fucking thing was she made me stop my car for a fucking icecream along with those damn puppy eyes which made me forget everything. 

She had that Turkish ice cream which was served in a unique way but I didn't like the fact that the boy was teasing her and not giving her the icecream and that triggered me. I wanted to bury him alive, because she is a *fucking queen* she gets what she wants the mere second she eyes that.

 But this bloody bastard was making her wait and how foolish, she was enjoying that damn show she was giggling all the time, like hell I will let him see how fucking cute she looks when she giggles.

Her giggling voice is so dreamy.

And that mother fucker was looking at her as if she is a fucking candy. 

So I did the thing which struck me first in my mind. I bloody scolded that boy and made him handover the icecream to her. She took the ice cream but in return she scolded me. And that moment I realised that no I can't think about her that way, she is just a replacement which will stick to me till one year. 

I too said some mean words to her because she should thank me rather than scolding me. She huffed and sat inside the car while banging it loudly.

I hate when someone bangs it, but I will let it slide just this one time. 

I repeat *just this one fucking time*.

I rode towards my home and we got to know that we have to visit Nani tomorrow. My Nani is kind and humble. She loves us too much as Maa is the only child of my grandparents. She was pampered a lot. We always used to visit her on our vacations or holidays but since a few years it has been difficult to meet her.
