I was nervous the entire drive to Chris's mom's house. I didn't know how this was going to go. I mean I knew she knew he was seeing someone and she had seen the photos of me with Dodger but what would she think of us being together.

We pulled in the driveway and Dodger got excited knowing where we were, and I just looked at Chris.

"Are you sure you want to do this now? I mean we didn't call or anything..." I trailed off.

"Ma has an open-door policy. She will love it we stopped by." Chris said as he got out of the car and let Dodger out. I followed suite and got out of the car. Chris walked around to my side of the car and took my hand. He smiled down at our hands together. "Are you shaking?" Chris asked and I nodded.

"Yes! Meeting parents and family can be scary. I mean I met your brother and sister, but your mom is a whole different ballgame!" I said and Chris chuckled.

"Technically you have met my mother too." Chris said.

"YEAH, AT MY STORE! She didn't know who I was." I said and Chris laughed and kissed the side of my head as we started to walk up the walkway.

"Bex, come on she will love you. It's going to be okay. She is a chill mom and not scary at all." Chris said and I just sighed as we got to the front door and Chris just walked in.

"Ma?" Chris called out. Dodger barked excitedly.

"I'll be down in a minute, putting laundry away." Her voice called from upstairs. Chris took Dodger from his leash who immediately ran to find Lisa. Chris laughed as took my hand walking me into the living room. I stopped in front of a lot of pictures on the wall.

"Is that you?" I asked seeing a picture of a young Chris dressed up with make-up all over his face.

"Yeah Carly, my older sister thought it would be funny to give me a makeover." Chris said.

"Then you grew up and wore make up in your career, I think she was helping." I said then laughed and Chris joined in but shook his head.

"You're mean." Chris joked and I shrugged.

"You know it was funny." I said as we looked at more pictures. There was one of the whole family of the endgame premiere but it looked to be taken in a hotel room. "I loved the suit." I said and Chris smiled.

"It was one of my favorites too." A voice said joining us and I looked to see Lisa. She smiled at me and then noticed who I was. "You're the girl from the bookstore and restoration place." She said and I nodded.

"Bexley, you can call me Bex though." I said and she smiled.

"I thought you looked familiar in those pictures with Dodger but I couldn't place it." Lisa said and Chris smiled.

"Ma, Bexley and I are dating." Chris blurted out and Lisa just looked at both of us and smiled. Lisa walked into the living room to sit down so Chris and I followed her. We sat on the couch together and Lisa just looked at us and then looked at us holding hands.

"You know when we went to her store the day after the convention I noticed her bracelet was like your black braided one, the one you said you lost at the convention but I didn't think anything of it, they are pretty common bracelets." Lisa said and Chris smiled looking down and noticing I was still wearing it.

"I gave it to her when we were stuck together in the elevator." Chris said and Lisa looked at us in shock.

"Wait...Bexley was the elevator girl!?" Lisa asked and I nodded.

"I was..." I blushed.

"Oh my god, he couldn't stop talking about you. He never said your name just kept saying the elevator girl." Lisa said with a laugh. I looked at Chris and laughed as well.
