Chapter 4
Yoongi and jimin
Yoongi
Morning
I woke up to sunlight filtering through the curtains, making me squint. My neck ached from sleeping on the couch, a sharp reminder of the restless night I’d had. Rubbing my eyes, I sat up and stretched, the events of last night crashing into me all at once.
Jimin never came home.
I turned to the front door—it was still locked from the inside. A heavy feeling settled in my chest. He hadn’t returned.
With a sigh, I pushed myself up and walked to the kitchen. My bare feet made soft sounds against the floor, but the silence in the house was deafening. The food on the dining table was untouched, exactly as I had left it last night.
So, it’s true.
Walking down the hall, I stopped in front of his door. Locked. From the outside. My frustration bubbled up instantly.
"How dare you, Min Jimin? You didn’t come home last night and didn’t even inform your husband?"
The words slipped out before I could stop them. My eyes widened, and I replayed the last part in my head.
Your husband?
I groaned, running a hand through my hair. “Ugh, what the hell is wrong with me?”
Shaking off the unsettling thought, I turned and headed to my room. Cold water splashed against my face, jolting me awake, but it did nothing to clear the mess in my head. After brushing my teeth and showering, I grabbed a casual outfit and slung my bag over my shoulder.
Jimin always showed up to college, no matter what. Even if he was sick, even if he was exhausted—he never missed a day.
That thought gave me some relief. If he wasn’t home, he’d definitely be there.
As I started the car and pulled onto the road, I tightened my grip on the steering wheel. “Min Jimin,” I muttered under my breath. “You better have a damn good explanation for this.”
But despite my irritation, a nagging voice in my head whispered something else—What if something happened to him?
I shook off the thought. He’s fine. He has to be.
Still, my heart refused to settle.

At College
The second I reached campus, I went straight to the second floor, my steps hurried and determined.
Then, I saw him.
Jimin was sitting with Taehyung, Jungkook, and a few others, laughing as if he didn’t have a care in the world. As if he hadn’t disappeared for an entire night without a word.
I saw red.
Ignoring the stares as I stormed into the classroom, I grabbed his hand, yanking him toward me.
"How dare you, Min Jimin, stay out all night without informing your husband?"
The words came out louder than I intended, echoing through the room. The moment they left my mouth, the entire class fell silent.
Whispers broke out instantly.
Taehyung and Jungkook stared at me, mouths slightly agape. Jimin, however, didn’t even flinch.
Instead, he arched an eyebrow and pulled his hand out of my grasp. His voice was cold, detached. "Excuse me? I don’t think I know you."
I blinked, stunned. The audacity.
