Hello, my dear cuties! Your lazy author here, skipping time a little because... well, I'm lazy! Hehehe! 😁
Let's dive right into the story, shall we?

Chapter 23
Yoongi
It’s been a month since the doctor first told me about Jimin’s health condition. I’ve been trying every possible way to find a solution, but nothing concrete has come up yet. Still, I made a decision—I couldn’t pause everything, not now. I had to keep going, for both of us.
So, I returned to college.
I’m in my third year and final exams are just around the corner. Jimin’s in his second year, and his exams are approaching too. But there’s no way I could let him physically attend college in his current condition. He needed rest. He needed to be safe.
I discussed it with our parents, and they stepped in to help. Thankfully, Jimin’s father and my father are both shareholders in the college, and the principal also happens to be an old friend of Jimin’s dad. That connection made things easier than I expected. After a few conversations, the college authorities agreed to let Jimin attend classes online. They also approved him taking his exams online too. There were a few terms and conditions, but we didn’t hesitate to accept them.
Now, every morning I leave for college alone, and Jimin stays at home. It breaks my heart a little every time I walk out the door without him. We’ve never been apart this much during the day before. But somehow, this distance has only brought us closer. I find myself missing him more deeply, appreciating every second I get to spend with him once I’m back.
The sun had started to dip below the horizon as I approached our house. I could already imagine him—curled up on the living room couch, waiting for me. Even after a full day of online classes, he always looked so excited when I came home, like he hadn’t just seen me that morning.
Just knowing he was there… waiting for me… it made the walk back home feel shorter.
And no matter how tired I was, the moment I stepped inside and saw his eyes light up—that was all I needed.

As for now,
I reached the front door just as the sun dipped below the horizon. The soft hues of orange and pink in the sky should’ve calmed me, but all I could think about was getting home. Back to him.
Jimin.
It was strange how a single person could turn a house into a home, how the idea of walking through that door and seeing his face made every exhausting lecture and stressful assignment fade into nothing.
I rang the bell once. No response.
Twice.
Still nothing.
A small knot of worry twisted in my chest. Jimin always came to the door. Always.
Fumbling for the spare key, my fingers trembled as I pushed the door open and rushed in. “Jimin?!” I called, the edge in my voice sharper than I intended.
No answer.
The panic was rising quickly now, my thoughts spiraling before I could control them. I dropped my bag at the door, shoes forgotten in the hallway as I darted through the living room—and then stopped.
