She was lost, not able to think straight. Her mind was a mess. Ever since last night and now today...

Alone in her room, with a random book in her hand, she couldn't focus on what she was reading. Her mind was lost... she was lost.

Knock...

"Amna..." Humna's swift voice boomed inside Amna's awfully quiet room.

Stepping inside, Humna stopped at the door after seeing Amna's lost state and sighed, slowly closing the door behind her as she walked up to her, sitting beside her and placing a hand over her shoulder, making Amna flinch.

"Amna..." Humna's voice was soft and quiet as Amna looked in her direction

"J...Ji, Ami." Placing the book beside her as she sat up straight.

[ Y...Yes, Mom. ]

Humna's gaze turned down as she took a deep breath before looking back up but not at Amna.

"Amna... Mujhe pata hai ke... ye sab aasan nahin hota. Kuch bhi aasan nahin hai. Ye duniya, ye zindagi... Ise guzarna both mushkil hai. Har ladki apni zindagi ke is pal se ghabrati hai. Main bhi ghabrai thi..." Turning her head towards Amna, she chuckled to lighten up the mood.

[ Amna... I know that... all this is not easy. Nothing is easy. This world, this life... it's very hard to survive. Every girl is afraid of this moment of her life. I was also scared... ]

"Jab Suleman, rishta le ke humaray ghar aye the na... To mujhe to much sedha samajh hi nahin aa raha tha... Yahan tak ke, jab Maine sab ke liay chai banai thi to apni gharbrahat ki wajah se, main ne apna hath hi jala dia tha." Amna's eyes widened at her mother's former times story.

[ When Suleman, came with a marriage proposal... Then I couldn't think straight... When I was preparing tea for everyone then, due to my nervousness, I burnt my hand. ]

"Boht si cheezain hoti hain. Mera to much bhi nahin tha." Raising a hand, she placed it on Amna's cheek.

[ So many things happen. Mine was nothing. ]

"This is what life is, Amna... Full of challenges, and hardships and... You have to face them. We're here. Always. Mein, Suleman, Abd-ar Rahman, Ali, Eman, Halima, Hassan Bhai... Abu, aur Ami... Azlaan bhi... Hum sab hain. Agar Kisi ne, Kuch bhi kahay, ya Karne ki Koshish ki, to hum hain Yahan." Amna's throat was clogged with a lump of tears which she held back and gulped down and nodded.

[ Me, Suleman, Abd-ar Rahman, Ali, Eman, Halima, Hassan Brother... Mother, and father... Azlaan too... We all are here. If anyone, says something or tries to do something then, we are here. ]

"Chalo, shabash ab taiyar ho ke neechay AA Jao aur chai bhi banani hai sab ke liay." Humna started with a smile spread across her lips as she stood up and walked towards the door before turning to look at Amna with her hand resting on the doorknob.

[ Okay then, hurry to get ready and come downstairs and you have to prepare tea for everyone too. ]

"Bas... Meri tarha hath na jala Lena." Amna chuckled at her mother's statement. Humna smiled knowing that she managed to lighten up the mood and walked out of her room.

[ Just... Don't burn your hand like me. ]

After Humna left her room, Amna exhaled heavily her smile flattering.

"Ab Ami AP Kon bataye ke majra Kya hai."

[ Now who would tell you what's the matter, Mom. ]
