Things were going just fine. With the help of Lubna, everything was balanced. Humna and Halima got a helping hand for themselves.

It was almost the end of the week, only one week was to go.

"Azlaan beta..." Azlaan was halted on his way to the living area by Humna.

[ Azlaan son... ]

"Ji, Tayi Ami?" He asked, walking in her direction, who was sitting at the dining table with all the ladies, including, Amna, Eman, and Maryam.

[ Yes, Aunt? ]

"Beta, Amna ke Kuch jewelry sets thay, Jo jewelers ki shop par die hai, ja kar la dete ho?" Humna requested, staring up at him

[ Son, there were some of Amna's jewelry sets, that we gave at the jewelers' shop, can you go and get them? ]

"Ji, zaroor. Abhi Chala jata hun." Azlaan replied and turned, about to make his way upstairs to his room, to get his car keys.

[ Yes, sure. I will go now. ]

"Azlaan beta, aik minute..." Humna stopped him once again

[ Azlaan son, one minute... ]

"ji?" Azlaan asked, turning to face her again.

[ Yes? ]

"Amna ko bhi le Jao... Us ne koi choti moti shopping Karni thi to, tumharay Sath kar le gi." His gaze darted towards Amna who turned her head to her mother in surprise.

[ Take Amna with you too... She also had to do some small shopping so, she can do it with you. ]

"Ami..." Amna whispered in a low voice, giving her mother raised frowned brows.

[ Mom... ]

"Kia? Bhai hai, Chali Jao. Jo thodi Boht shopping Karni ho gi, wo bhi kar lena." Humna frowned

[ What? He's your brother, go. Whatever little shopping you have to do, do that too. ]

Amna turned her head in Azlaan's direction who was only staring at her. Seeing his cold stare on her, she looked away.

"le Jao ge, Azlaan beta?" Humna asked again to which Azlaan turned his head towards her, coming out of his trance.

[ Will you take her, Azlaan son? ]

"Ji... Le Jao ga, Tayi Ami." He replied, sparing her a small glance before he looked away.

[ Yes... I will take her, Aunt. ]

Looking down, Amna stood up from her seat.

"Main taiyaar ho kar ati hun..." Amna replied, going upstairs to her room and getting dressed in whatever presentable kurta shalwar came into her view draping a similar colored dupatta across her chest and over her head before she made her way back down.

[ I will get dressed and come. ]

When she came down, he wasn't there. He was probably outside, so she stepped out of the house after bidding her family, goodbye.

As expected, he was outside, waiting for her in his car. Taking a deep breath, she opened the passenger seat door and sat inside the car, closing the door afterward.

Seeing her inside, he waited until she was done buckling the seatbelt before he pressed on rays and took the car on the street, driving over to the jewelers' shop.
