Book Nook Café
Maya, Lena and Elana took a seat in a corner booth. Maya and Elana on onside, Lena on the other.
"So, when did you to meet?" Elana ased. Cutting off Lena before she could respond, "10th grade. Lena was trying to pursue me, and so I just had to give in." Maya grinned.
"Tell the truth Maya!" Lena looked at Elana, "In 10th grade, she walked straight up to me in the hall and said, we're now friends. Just like that."
Elana glanced to Maya who just nodded her head as she took a sip from her coffee.
"How long have you known Ava?" Lena enquired. "Longer than I care to remember. We've been friends since we were kids. Our parents live near each other in the same neighbourhood. Went to the same school, same dance classes... We've just always been in each others lives." Elana reminisced. "We also worked part time at her parents restaurant. Morgan's Cantina. Do you know it?"
Lena shook her head. "I do!" piped up Maya. "The food is fuckin' awesome. Lena. We should go sometime."
"Mmm, maybe," Lena said. "So, what else do you get up to? What are you studying?"
"Accounting," replied Elana, looking a her phone as a message appeared on the screen. "It's Ava. I'll just let her know where I am." She quickly messaged her location to Ava, and that she was 'with friends'. The phone dinged again. "Ava'll be here in about 15 minutes."
Elana, looking a little sheepish, asked, "So, do you mind if ask, how did you know you liked girls? I mean, have you always like girls?" Elana's ears went red, "Sorry, that's rude of me. You don't have to answer that," trying to hide her face behind the coffee cup.
The other two girls laughed. Hugging Elana's arm, pulling her tightly to her chest, Maya loudly whispered into her ear, "I've always liked girls!" Close enough that she could feel Maya's breath on her neck. Elana's face started turning red, but she didn't pull away.
"Stop it, Maya" chuckled Lena. Maya eased of the pressure and went back to drinking her coffee.
"Growing up, it wasn't that I disliked boys, I just wan't particuarly interested in them. I'd see girls, watch them, and feel butterflies etc, but I did really realise.. maybe admit to myself is a better word... that I liked girls until I met Maya."
"I have that effect on people," Maya said proudly.
"I even had boyfriend in high school for a while. Even kissed him," said Lena. "Ewwww!" cut in Maya. "But, it wasn't till Maya kissed me one day that I knew for sure how much I like girls."
"Damn right!" Maya banged her chest. "You wanna give it a go? I can help if you're not sure..." nugding Elana, who blushed and then proceeded to look around the shop. Maya grinned, "Hey, I'm just teasing you."
The sound of the bell ringing as the cafe door opened. Ava stepped in and Elana raised her hand. "Here. Over here!" waving madly. Elana let out a sigh of relief.
Lena turned to watch as Ava approached. Ava was just dressed in tight leggings that showed of her leg muscles. Her tight sports crop top highlight her ample breast, that were slightly hidden beneath her opened jacket.
"Here, let me get that for you," said Maya to Lena, pretending to wipe her mouth, "You got a little drool, right, there!" Elana snorted, watching the two.
Ava went to wave to Elana, when she saw Lena and Maya at the booth as well. She stopped in her tracks, and turned back towards the door. Did she see me? Maybe she didn't. Maybe I can just leave? Speaking loudly, "Ava, we're over here!" said Elana. Shit!
Ava turned back and smiled. She walked over to the booth, and looked at the empty spot next to Lena. "Sit. Sit, sit, sit," gestured Maya, indicating to the spot adjacent Lena. "What do you want to drink?"
Lean slid over, allowing space for Ava to sit down, "Umm, coffee? Latte, please."
Shouting to the waitress, "Sara! One more latte here!". The waitress nodded.
Elana to Ava, "Did you get all your assignments handed in?" Ava nodded, still clearly feeling awkward, especially with how close she was sitting to Lena. "Yeah, I've only got to complete the pratical work at the clinic."
"Practical work? Clinic? You training to be a doctor?" Maya asked. "Sports medicine. I need to do a few hours worth of massage as part of the practical assignment," Ava responded. Maya glanced at Lena and gave her a wink. Lena rolled her eyes back. "Where's the clinic? Is it on campus?" Maya questioned. "Yeah, It's part of the University's swimming center. You should come and try it." Elana said as she looked toward Lena.
Maya and Elana glanced at each other and smiled. Both seemed to have a tacit understanding.
"Sure, Lena! You should go. You're always complaining about how tired you are. Maybe a massage would help?" Maya glared at Lena. "I'm only tired from you not letting me sleep!"
Ava and Elana's eyes opened wide, mouths agape. Realising what she'd said, Lena turned to the two, "No, no, no. It's not what you think! I meant because Maya always wants me to go out and drink together." Strangely, Ava felt comforted to hear that.
"Besides, if it was because of 'that', forget being tired. She'd have trouble walking!" said Maya.
Both Elana and Ava snorted coffee out their nose, upon hearing Maya. Coffee landing on the table, and a little on Lena's clothing.
Mortified, Ava grabbed a handful of napkins and attempted to clean up the coffee from Lena's clothes. Without even being aware, she was wiping Lena's chest. "Sorry, sorry... I can pay for it to be cleaned," said Ava. Still wiping Lena's chest.
Maya grinned. Elana's eyes were wide open staring. Lena just looked down at Ava's hands that were still rubbing on her breasts. Ava then froze, looking at her own hands. She then looked at Lena's blue eyes, and felt her whole face burning. "Oh...OH? I'm so sorry, " said Ava who was now ready to completely die from embarrassment.
Taking the napkins from her hands, Lena said, "It's fine. Don't worry about it, it's no biggie." As the two touched hands, Lena looked into Ava's deep brown eyes and felt her heart racing. She quickly retracted her hands, and proceeded to clean up the coffee on her shirt.
Ava's phone rang. Thank you... she thought. Seeing it was Jake, she indicated to the others that she would take the call, moving to a quiter place.
"How are you honey?" Maya whispered to Lena, "Do you need to change your pants? Maybe your underwear? She was pretty vigorous there... Did you almost cum?" Lena could only frown. The sensation of Ava's hands on her was very fresh in her mind, and she was starting to feel a little moist down there. "Oh my God! You did, didn't you?" Maya teased. Lena glared at her. Elana was still sitting there with eyes the size of dish plates.
"Jake will be here soon to pick me up. So I'm going to head of now," Ava said to the group. "It was nice seeing you again. Maya." Shyly looking at Lena, "Lena." Lena could only wave and nod awkwardly.
"Elana, I'll call you later." Elana nodded and waved, the blank look on her face still persisting.
As Ava walked out the door, Elana and Maya looked at each other, paused, then burst out into laughter. "Did you see that? Bah ha ha ha." "I know right?" Lena could only stare at the two who seemed to have formed some unspoken bond.
"So, when are you going for that massage?" Maya prompted Lena. "You can set that up, right Elana?" Elana nodded enthusiastically.
"What are you thinking about Maya? She's straight. And she has a boyfriend!"
"That asshole?" Elana humphed. "Don't worry about him. What's your number Maya?" As the two girls exchanged numbers, Maya said to Lena, "Besides, it's just a massage."
Just a massage? We only just touched hands and I became horny and wet. What would happen if she was massaging me? Clean up in aisle 6! Lena thought.
While Maya and Elana chatted, Lena looked to the door. Lost in thought.
