Wavecrest Apartments
>> I've just arrived. I waiting downstairs.
>> I'll be right down. 🐯
Walking out from the lift, Ava saw Lena standing there. Dressed in a tight red dress that went down to her ankles. Strapless, it highlighted her exposed collarbones, the mounds of her breast clearly visible.
"You look amazing!" Ava stared for what felt like a minute, "Oh...uuhh... Come in. I'm on the eighth floor," Ava guestured for Lena to enter the lift.
Standing side by side, they glanced at each other before awkwardly smiling. Then just watched the floor numbers changing above the door.
Ding! The doors opened. "This way. I'm on the left. It's 803."
Entering Ava's apartment, Lena looked around. It was a cozy student apartment, with a small kitchen that over looked that lounge area. There was a large window that gave a view that you could see the water of the harbor, and the lights of the Seaside Promenade.
"Great view," Lena said. "Better then my dorm room."
Handing Lena a glass of wine, "It's ok I guess." Ava watched Lena, without looking at the view. "Do you like pasta? I forgot to ask if you had any allergies?"
"Pasta's sounds great! No, no allergies either."
"Perfect. It's almost ready. Take a seat on the sofa if you like. TV remotes on the table there," said Ava as she returned to the kitchen.
Lena sat down and switch on the TV. The sports channel was already on, and the latest international swimming competition was being replayed. "You watch this channel as well?" Lena asked.
"Mmm, when I have some spare time."
As she started serving the food on the plates, Ava said, "I broke up with Jake." Quite matter of factly. Lena coughed on her wine.
"What? When?" Slowly turning her head to face Ava.
"The other night."
"How'd it go? Are you ok?"
"I broke it off with him. So yeah, I'm fine."
"Why did you break it off?" Lena trying to contain the smile that just wanted to burst out. Saying insincerely, "I thought you guys looked great together."
Ava looked up with a raised brow. "What? Really," said Lena, now unable to hold back the smile. Ava shook her head.
"Dinner's ready."
The two sat down to dinner. They quietly chatted about swimming, hobbies, places they'd been and things they wanted to do. Without even noticing the time, they'd finished eating.
"Relax on the sofa. I'll just clean this up and then join you," said Ava.
"I'll help you." Lena carrying some dishes to the sink.
As Ava washed, Lena dried. Occassionally, their fingers would touch as they passsd the dishes over, resulting in the a shy blush or two. Both girls thought to themselves What am I? In fucking junior high?
Sitting down on the sofa, they watched TV, their knees touching but neither pulling away.
"Do you want something to dri..." Ava felt Lena's head on her shoulder, fast asleep. She stared at her beautiful face, pushing some loose hair back behind her ears. Ava slowly leant in and softly pressed her lips to the top of Lena's head. She smells fucking amazing!
Lena suddenly moved, shocking Ava. Without waking up, Lena adjusted her position to rest her head in Ava's lap. Snuggling up to her like a little kitten.
Ava softly stroked her head and just quietly watched. She couldn't believe that this beautiful women was sleeping peacefully on her lap. That's right! A woman! I have a woman sleeping on my lap? And it feels so natural... I'm definitely a lesbian!
Ava pulled the blanket off the back of the sofa and used it to cover Lena. Holding Lena with one arm while resting the other on her head, occasionally stroking her hair or touching her cheeks, she continued to watch TV.
A few hours later, Lena awoke. Her head was resting on something soft and she was covered in a blanket. She could smell the most wonderful fragrance. As her eyes adjusted to the low light, she could see Ava's stunning face above her, the eyes closed. Her breathing was slow and steady.
Feeling Ava's arms resting on her body, Lena simply closed her eyes and went back to sleep.
If this is a dream, I'm going to let it go for as long as I can.
Wavecrest Apartments - The following morning
Ava and Lena were still asleep on the sofa, but both had readjusted themselves overnight. They were now sleeping side by side, holding on to one another.
Ring ring, ring ring! Lena's phone loudly rang, startling both girls awake. With eyes wide open, each girl looked at the other. As if it was the most natural thing to be waking up facing each other, they both said, "Morning."
Both suddenly realised where they were, and who they were with. Lena fell off the sofa and crashed onto the floor, groaning. Ava covered her mouth in shock, "Are you ok?"
Jumping up, Lena grabbed her phone that was still ringing, "I'm ok". Looking at the display, it was Maya calling. She pressed the call cancel button, and texted.
>> Still at Ava's. Talk later.
"Is everything okay?" Ava asked. "Everything's fine. Which way is the bathroom?" said Lena looking around. Ava pointed in the direction of the bathroom. "Thanks, do you mind if I have a shower?"
"Not at all. Towels and toothbrushes are under the sink. I'll get you some clothes to wear."
"Umm... Thanks," said Lena as she scurried off to the bathroom.
As the hot water ran over Lena's body, the image of Ava's face appeared in her mind. She could still remember her smell when she'd first woken up in the early that morning. A knock at the door.
"I've got your clothes here."
"Doors not locked. You can bring them in."
As Ava stepped in, she could see Lena there in all her glory. She blushed and quickly moved to put the clothes on a nearby chair.
Sneakily glancing, "I..I...I left the clothes on the chair. Did you need anything else," Ava asked nervously.
"You could join me?" Lena gave her a mischievous grin.
"Oh..uh...I... um.. I'll get breakfast ready. Is toast and fruit okay?" said Ava as she fled out of the bathroom not even waiting for a response. Lena laughed, "Too cute."
Ava leant against the hallway wall, her heart beating a million times a second, "Too damn sexy," she whispered under her breath.
Lena came out of the bathroom about 10 minutes later, drying her hair with the towel, now wearing Ava's clothes. "They fit perfectly," she said to Ava, checking herself out. "Seems we're a perfect match?"
"Toast?" Ava asked, not daring to answer that question.
Eating breakfast, they sat silently. Lost in their respective thoughts. After she had finished eating, Lena jumped up and made to leave.
"Thank you for a lovely night. Dinner was great." And I loved waking to see your face. "I'll get these washed and bring them back to you."
"No rush, no rush. Thanks for coming. I had a really great time as well." When will be the next time I can wake up next to you?
