You looked between the two options.
One was a yellow sweater that had a smiling pumpkin on it. To show the upcoming fall season. But it wasn't cold enough yet to be wearing a sweater. Cool, but not cold.
The other one was a f/c jacket. It could just go over the white t-shirt you have on now with some long shorts you have lying around.
The sweater was cute. But the jacket was more practical.
You frowned, nibbling at your bandaged fingers.
"..This shouldn't be this hard."
"Y/n! Come on! Lucinda is expecting us, remember!? I don't want to be late!" You heard Aphmau yell from downstairs.
"I knooow." You responded not nearly loud enough for Aphmau to hear, tone a little snarky.
You looked between the two outfits again and exhaled threw your nose.
"I'll go with the jacket. The sweater looks too kiddie anyway."

You walked out the house with Aphmau, closing the door behind you as she glanced back at you.
"Locked up?" "Yeah." "Well then come on. We gotta get to Lucindas."
You rolled your eyes and shoved your hands in your pockets, hopping down the stairs to catch up with the short woman. You kept all of your groaning internal.
"Why do I have to go?" You tried to say as steadily as possible, "I don't want to go over there.."
"That's..not nice." Aphmau smiled a little. She's been doing that a bit more lately. Atleast, around you she is.
"I'm not trying to be mean. I just don't feel like going." "Well you are and I'm not sorry about it. I don't feel comfortable leaving you in the house alone, okay?" "Uh-You used to leave me home alone all the time."
Aphmau grimanced and stopped her walk to turn around and look at you.
You were still a few feet behind her, but you were able to look her in the face now without turning away. Even if your body language showed that you'd give anything to look away from her."That was before--...That was just before, alright?"
You flinched a little at the indication and frowned. How quickly we forget. "Right..Sorry."
"It's okay. Besides, I want you close to me from now on. Incase we have another..episode?" "M' not gonna have another episode," You huffed, "I'm good now. Swear. Seizures only happen to sick people. I'm not sick."
"That's not how seizures work, but okay. Come on, we're almost at Lucindas."
"Okay."
Today, Aphmau was going to learn healing magic. She told you only yeaturday that you two would be going to Lucindas house for that reason and that you'd be coming along. It was all one statement so you assumed you didn't really have a choice in the matter.
You didn't want to go. You had too much on your plate already, believe it or not.
Ever since that night, you've been trying to figure out who that boy in your mind was. A ghost? A spirit? You weren't sure. You thought it was a soul for some time, but you had given that book away to Asher. So your only form of research is gone.
