Chapter 6

Aaron was setting down breakfast for you and Aphmau while Aphmau was brewing Aaron some coffee.

"The bus will be here in a few." Aaron commented. "Right...[Y/N]! Get ready and come downstai--"

"I'M READY!" You grinned, hopping down the steps and to the door. You were anout to open it before Aaron stopped you.

"Slow down..." "The bus isn't here yet. You still have 7 minutes!" Aphmau giggled.

Your tail slowly stopped wagging and your ears fell.

"Aw man...I was really excited too..."  You sighed. You begrudgingly walked over to the table and sat down infront of your plate.

"You? Excited? About school?" Aphmau fake gasped.

"Last time I checked, you were hating the idea of school no more then a few days ago."

"Yeah! That was before I knew that it was like! Schools awesome! Yeah the work is stupid...But its still fun! And the friends I've made our cool!"

"Even your husband~?"

"Not my husband..." "He better not be your husband..." You laughed quietly at the two, eating your breakfast.

When you heard the bus coming from afar with your werewolf hearing, you finished up and smiled.

"Thanks for the food Aaron! Bye Mama Aph~!"

You gave them both a hug before opening the door and going outside.

You waited a bit for the bus pulled up.

The students thay were standing next to you were a bit shocked to see you so excited about school today.

Just a few days ago, you seemed to not be able to look them in the eye.

You hopped on the bus the moment it pulled up and grinned when you saw Nico and Sophia sitting in a seat, waiting for you.

"Nico! Sophia!" You called. They turned to you, their Mei'fwa ears perking up at your voice. The two shared an identically soft smile when they saw you.

"Hey [Y/N]!" Sophia greeted.

Nico gave you a wave. They scooted over to the best of their ability to make room for you with Nico in the middle.

"How are you two doing this morning?" "Fine. Thanks for taking care of Nico by the way." Nico gave his sister a look and scoffed a little.

"What? I know your older then us, but I still care for you!" Sophia smiled nervously.

Nico giggled quietly and smile at you and Sophia.

You three talked for a little bit and you fell asleep on Nicos shoulder eventually with Sophia fiddling with her tail.

Nico just sat perfectly still so he doesn't wake you up. When you three arrived at school and gently shook you and called your name once before you woke up.

"Hm? Are we at school yet?" "Mhm! Lets get going." Sophia smiled.

You nodded and you three got off the buss hand in hand with Nico leading. He kept quiet and let you and Sophia speak.

Once in class you turned to your other friends with a smile. They make school just a little bit better.

Ethan was having a breath holding contest with Logan as Alex egged them on and Rocky laughed.

Asher shook his head in dismay.

"Hey guys!" You smiled, holding up your hands that were still locked in with Sophia and Nicos.
