Getting out of a shower was strange, weird, confusing for Aelori. She looked into the mirror of the bathroom in her dorm. There was one other bed, but she didn't know who slept there.
Aelori quickly walked back inside the dorm and dressed for the meal. Professor Alpin told her that she will be wearing a robe that has her house colours on it.
It was September so Aelori decided to wear tight jeans with a deep cut shirt. She wasn't sure what to wear under her robe for dinner, but she decided to go for muggle clothing.
With a quick spell she dried her hair and put some slight waves into it. With a last check into the mirror she made her way down to the common room.
It was a peaceful place. There were bookshelves with thousands of different books, each having a unique story for Aelori to read. The windows were big and had an arch form. It gave a great view of the place Hogwarts was.
Above was the biggest window of them all, you could see so many stars littering the sky. Also, the star Aelori has looked for every single night.
She quickly made her way downstairs, walking the thousands steps. There weren't a lot of students, which made her instantly worries that she might be late for dinner.
She saw two students talking, so without another thought she tapped the tall one on the shoulder. He turned around, and Aelori's eyes were getting bigger by who it was.
"What do you want." The guy said in a bored tone.
"Regulus, calm down." The second said, he had blond hair and bright blue eyes. "What do you want sweetheart."
Aelori instantly grimaced at the nickname.
"Well, I was going to ask for directions, but you clearly don't know how to properly talk to girls."
Evan laughed at the girl, but Regulus looked at her bored out of his mind. Evan went to say something, but Regulus pulled him back.
"Evan, we do not engage with filthy mudbloods."
"What did you call me?" Aelori said, her tone getting harder. Her hand already on her wand.
"I called you what you are."
"You don't fucking know me." She challenged back at him.
Aelori was already annoyed at the boy for punching her on the snout, but now he calls her a slur.
"Like I want to get to know you." Regulus straightened himself. "But of course you already know me."
He held his head up high, like he was some sort of prince in the view of Aelori's eyes. Aelori smiled at a thought.
"What," she began. "Are you some sort of Slytherin prince."
Evan let out a snort.
"Or," Aelori took a step forward to Regulus. "A princess maybe."
Evan let out a small laugh, finding the situation very amusing. A muggleborn challenging no other then the heir of the Black household.
Regulus took out his wand, pointing it at her jaw, "And you are just a waste in the magic world, a disease, a mistake, weakness in the blood."
"First, muggleborns are just a strong as any other witch or wizard their age." Aelori kept walking towards him, feeling his wand now hard against her jaw. "Second, you insulted the wrong person."
"Like you could take me." Regulus just scoffed at her. He was at least a few inches taller than her. She is wearing muggle clothing, of course she would be a muggleborn.
"I could take you down without a wand." Aelori stepped slightly away from him. "Don't cross my path again, ever. Don't let me hear you say those words to someone else. Because if I do, you will not even see a mudblood ever again."
Evan was watching the girl in amazement. Even if his best friend clearly doesn't like her, he for one does. No one dares to speak like that to Regulus. Even if she didn't know his status, she still went forward to threaten him.
Aelori moved her head over the shoulder of Regulus and towards Evan.
"I am going to ask again, where is the great hall." She gave Evan a kind smile and he quickly pointed to the direction.
"Just go that way, take a left, then go all the way down take a right and eventually you will see two big doors, very hard to miss."
"Thank you-"
"Rosier, Evan Rosier."
Aelori smiled at him. She looked back at Regulus who was watching the girl closely. She moved passed him, bumping her shoulders against his.
"Regulus don't-"
Aelori smiled and simply lifted her hand, the spell bounced away and against a wall. The wall started to turn jelly, but Aelori didn't care much about it.
"Mister Black." Aelori spoke up, turning around to the boys. Regulus had his wand still pointed at her, while Evan was holding his shoulder. "Please don't do that again, or I will re-direct it towards you and not the wall."
Aelori quickly turned around again and started walking towards the great hall. The boys following her all the way, until Evan spoke up.
"Her wand was strapped on her upper thigh."
