As Aelori made a turn, she pushed herself against the wall.
"Clam breath in." She took a breath in. "Calm breath out."
"You are in control." She lastly spoke.
"Yes, you are." Was a voice heard, making her turn around.
There was a beautiful girl standing there with green robes. The girl had her arms crossed over her body.
"I-I am sorry-" Aelori started to ramble.
The girl simply held up her hand and waved it off. "Are you new?"
Aelori nodded her head, while looking down at the hallway.
"I am looking for the great hall." Aelori simply stated, while trying to remember what Rosier said.
"I am heading that way, would you like to walk with me?"
Aelori looked her up and down, seeing the vibrant green on her robes.
"You are okay with that?" Aelori asked, not understanding why a Slytherin is nice to her.
"Why wouldn't I be." The girl flashed her a kind smile.
"Well, I have met some Slytherin's who clearly already hate me, thinking I am a muggleborn, which I am not."
Aelori twisted her hair between her fingers, while looking at all the paintings on the wall, seeing them move and talk to each other.
"Yes, unfortunately there are some that hate muggleborns, and some you should stay away from either way. Who did you talk to?"
"Evan Rosier, was kind of nice, just flirty." Aelori began. "But the other one was plainly rude, Regulus Black is his name."
Aelori was met with laughter from her right side.
"Out of all the Slytherin's you have met the less scary ones." The girl doubled over with laughter, making Aelori let out a little snort.
"He tried to curse me." Aelori countered back.
"Wait your okay right?" The girl looked at Aelori up and down, making sure there were no bruises. She knew Regulus very well, better than anyone in this castle and knew he was the brightest of his year.
"Yea, he didn't hit me, I re-directed the curse against the wall." Aelori simply waved off.
"Your first interaction is with one of the sacred 28th, someone who tried to talk you down, tried to curse you, but he couldn't." The girl watched the ash blond in amazement. "We are going to be great friends."
Aelori gave her a smile and stopped in her tracks, holding up a hand.
"I am Aelori Broze."
"I am Andromeda Black, but you can call me Andy."
Aelori could see the resemblance, the piercing eyes, but hers were kind. The black, slightly curly hair.
"Are you his sister?"
"No," Andromeda let out a slight laugh. "I am his cousin, are you familiar with the Black's?"
Aelori shook her head, making Andromeda look at her in confusion.
"But you are British and not a muggleborn." She looked at the girl from head to toe.
"I lived my whole life in America, my mom is British, and I never went to a school there, only a muggle school when I was young." Aelori explained.
Andromeda nodded at her explanation, "And your father?"
"That is why I am in England, to look for him." Aelori looked down at her boots. "The only problem is that I have no idea what his name is, only how he looks like."
Andromeda looked at the girl carefully. There is so much more that meets the eye, but the problem is. That the girl before her doesn't even know. There is something, something big, that both the girls don't know. Not yet at least.
They finally made their way into the great hall. Students were happily chatting and eating their dinner.
"I have to sit with the snakes, I will see you around." Andromeda gave the girl a wink and made her way to the house of green and silver.
Aelori scanned over the blue table, seeing everyone in groups. She saw a mop of blond hair, and a seat was free beside her. She smiled, remembering the girl that gave her food.
"Can I take a seat here?" Aelori asked the girl politely.
The girl turned around and gave her kind smile and a nod. She took a seat next to her seeing her plate filled with different kinds of food. Aelori let out a laugh when she saw that the food was so divided that it looked like a painting in 3D.
"I am Pandora Zervas." She held up her hands, for Aelori to shake.
"I am Aelori Broze."
Aelori quickly filled up her plate with all sorts of food.
"The sandwich wasn't enough for you I see." Pandora said to Aelori, but her eyes never left her artwork.
With a mouthful, Aelori met eyes with Pandora. She furrowed her brows in confusion at her.
"You see this, this is the Ravenclaw table, the smart house of Hogwarts." Pandora started. "Hogwarts has a forbidden forest with a lot of creatures, but never has there ever been a white fox, or at least a fox with the same fur as your hair."
Aelori swallowed her food. "You are not going to tell anyone are you?"
Pandora smiled at the girl. "I would never out an unregistered animagus, who was so cute."
Aelori let out a small laugh.
"Also," Pandora began, her eyes still glistering with happiness. "I wouldn't want to lose a friend now."
