James was dancing for a while, but when Lily went up to her bed to sleep, he decided to head up too. He didn't know where Sirius was as he had seen him kissing Aelori and Remus walked an hour ago through the portrait with a Hufflepuff on his arm. Peter was where he always was. On the couch in the common room, totally passed out.
As James walked up towards his room, he found something out of the ordinary, but also not very surprising.
In Sirius' bed was no other than Aelori and Sirius slowly kissing each other. He saw that Sirius didn't have a shirt on and Aelori also didn't wear one.
"Guys!" James screamed, holding his hands before his eyes.
Aelori and Sirius parted and stared at James. Both their head tilted towards the side to look past him, to see if anyone else was there.
Aelori let out a groan and Sirius quickly put on a shirt. Aelori pushed the blanket off of her and stood up.
The spaghetti straps were pushed down, and she made sure they were in place.
"James, I am decent." Aelori said, bored. "I was decent when you walked into here."
James looked between the two lovers. But there was something not right. You can always see the gleam look on Sirius' face when he slept with someone.
"You didn't sleep together?" He asked them and they both shook their heads.
He squinted his eyes at them.
People always think that James isn't smart. Always pining for a girl that always says no to him. They all think he is pretty stupid. But James is far from it. His father is a famous portioneer, while his mother is an auror. It is in his blood.
"You guys wanted someone else to walk into here."
It didn't come out as a question.
It made the two people look down on the floor. Their plan wasn't going as well as it should have been.
"You have to do something more then this to get his attention." James said to the two and grabbed a paper.
He started to write on the paper while the two looked over his shoulder.
"Padfoot and Mischief on a mission." Aelori read the headline in question.
"What else do you want to write down." James said back to the girl and never stopped writing. "Padfoot and Mischief fake dating rules, fuck no."
Sirius looked at Aelori and shrugged his shoulders. They would obviously spell the paper so no one would read it beside them, but Remus can figure it out.
"And..." James dragged out. "It is done."
James held up the paper before the two, holding it high up in the air.
"As your lawyer I want you both to read it carefully and sign it below here." He pointed to two dotted lines where they can place their signature.
Aelori began reading the rules.
1. This agreement must be kept secret, only James and Pandora are allowed to know about this.
2. There will be dates, this way is to make sure that news travels fast
3. You will have to sell it, this means there should be PDA with whatever the other party is comfortable with.
4. If one party develops feelings, there will be an instant termination of the contract. It will not go on.
5. You are not allowed to go on dates with anyone else beside the other party. You can however do other things with the outside party. This will have to be quiet for both reputations.
6. Contract will be terminated once Remus realises his feelings for Sirius or when the other party wants to quit.
Aelori read the last line, which was quite confusing to her. She pointed it out to James whom quickly explained it.
"It means that if you like someone else, you will have to keep it quiet until the contract is terminated. You are not allowed to 'cheat' on Sirius to keep both of your reputation. This also counts for you Sirius, if Remus ends up liking you, you will have to 'break up' with Aelori first."
"Sirius already has a big reputation, doesn't he?" Aelori smiled at them. She saw the daggers that the girl send her way, and in an instant did she know that he was sleeping around with a lot of them.
Aelori read it again. She wanted to help the boy, but now she realises. What does she gets out of this. She decided to ask the boys.
"Well," Sirius started, still thinking on how to form his words. "You are not very experienced in the whole dating and boy's era."
Aelori nodded her head. No one is a natural once it comes to dating and she never had an example or anything like that.
"Sure, okay." Aelori said. "But I want to add another rule."
Aelori began writing down one line.
7. Sirius will have to sneak me in to help Remus on the full moon.
"Remus would never let me help him if he knew."
This made James smile at the girl. He always had a feeling that she would fit in with his friends. But one question was still on his mind.
Why did the girl smell like death on the first night they met.
James wanted to know. Not because he was curious. Okay, he might be a bit curious. But this girl would stay close to Sirius and Remus, his best friends, his future brother-in-law and his brother. He needed to know more about her time there.
"Why were you in the woods that night?" James' eyes found those ember ones.
Aelori froze, she knew they wanted to know. She knew how protected Remus was off the boys. It wouldn't be a surprise that James was the same way.
"Which night?" She began. "The night when you found me or the first night of my life there."
The boys looked at each other in confusion and turned back to the girl.
"When I was 9..."
Aelori began telling them her whole story. It felt easier to do it when you want to tell people about it. She tried not to cry, but the trauma was to much of it. She even told them that she was finding her unknown father.
James felt for the girl, and he promised himself. If she can help with Remus, he would help her find her father.
With that, both the parties signed the papers and shook hands.
