It was the next day and Aelori was shaking her leg up and down in excitement. Pandora placed her hand down onto her knees to stop the bouncing.
Aelori had tied her hair in a high ponytail, letting some fallen hair framing her face. This time she decided to wear pants instead of a skirt. Knowing she would do a lot more than just standing in defence against the dark arts.
"I am going to talk with Lulu, okay?" Pandora asked the girl, she didn't pay attention to her, only at the food.
Even after months being here, she always has a feeling she would go back to the woods and having to hunt her own food. That is why she is eating so much as if her life depended on it.
Good thing the castle is enormous. She used that to exercise a bit and lose the weight she gains while eating so much.
Aelori just hummed at her, making Pandora get up from her seat towards the Slytherin table.
It was an odd view her and the heir. In the begin people would give them strange looks, but now it was a common sight that they had lost interested. They all thought they were dating at some point. No one dared to say anything to Regulus, even other children that are part of the sacred 28th. They were simply scared for their own lives.
Aelori felt a dip next to her on the bench, making her turn around with some chicken in her mouth.
Andromeda watched her with a smile on her face.
"Care to take a walk with me?"
Aelori wiped of the grease and grabbed her bag, and they both walked out of the great hall. After some small talk they made it outside near the black lake.
Aelori found that this was her favourite place to be. Talking with friends is a lot more private here, and the view is a breath taker. At dawn the sun is low, hiding behind the tall mountains. The trees moved peacefully in the cold wind.
"I want to know more about your family Andy." Aelori said after they sat down at the tree.
"That was out of the blue," Andromeda began, "What would you like to know?"
Aelori shrugged her shoulders, falling down on her back, watching the clouds slowly pass by.
Andromeda also fell down beside her and began to tell her the story about the house of Black. She told about her sisters and her cousins. She has an older sister who has already graduated from Hogwarts, Bellatrix. She also has a younger sister, who is in the year below Aelori.
Andromeda talked about how her parents make sure that there is always a pureblood line, so much even that the parents of the Black brothers are cousins.
This made Aelori grimaced in disgust, but the two boys couldn't do anything about it. Andromeda also started about how they and even her get treated in the household. It wasn't very known by everyone, but some do.
Andromeda tried to put most details out of it, like how they use unforgivable curses on their children. She did tell her how Sirius got out, her favourite cousin.
"Don't tell Regulus I told you that." Andromeda said to Aelori, making her laugh.
"I don't even want to talk to the prince of Slytherin."
"You have a nickname for him already?" Andromeda's smile turned into a smirk.
Aelori popped herself up with her arms, looking at the smirk that got send her way. "It suits him."
Andromeda sat there thinking for a while and she shrugged her shoulders, kind of seeing it. He does act like a prince, at home too. Since Sirius has left, he got treated like he was the king.
But Andromeda knew there was more to it. He had a weight on his shoulders, the weight of making his parents proud.
She liked Regulus, but only when they were alone. When you get to know him with no one around, it is like you're talking to a whole different person.
They stayed there talking for a little while, until it was time for their first lesson. Andromeda walked away, towards her own class, leaving Aelori to find it for herself.
It wasn't hard to find the classroom. Upon opening the classroom, she finds McGonagall sitting on her desk. Of course in her animagus form.
Aelori took a seat next to Pandora while McGonagall began her lesson. She began talking about changing a cup into an animal of your choosing.
Aelori never really did a lot of transfiguration. Yes, she is in an animagus. But the only thing she did is leaving the leaf in her mouth for a month, her mother did the potion and guided her.
Aelori watched as everyone started to change their cup into different small animals. She saw a bunny, niffler, snake and so much more.
Aelori watched for a while, until her eyes were on Regulus. He was leaning on his arm, looking bored at his animal. Which of course is a fucking snake.
"Are you having trouble, miss Broze?" Professor McGonagall asked the girl.
"No thank you, Professor." She replied back, making the professor nod at her.
Aelori's gaze met that of Regulus, who was watching her. She read his lips that said; 'Mudblood'.
She rolled her eyes at him and stood up from her chair, taking the goblet with her.
"What do you think you are doing, miss Broze?" The professor asked her, when she walked up towards one of the big windows.
"Proving a point Professor." She simply replied back, and McGonagall just simply stared at the girl. Not very used to someone saying that and not caring much about it, beside the four boys.
Aelori opened the window wide and open, letting the cold wind touch her skin. She turned back towards Regulus one time, before throwing the goblet out of the window, high in the air.
"Miss Broze!" Professor McGonagall yelled out to her.
But Aelori's eyes stayed on those of Regulus. She held up her wand and pointed at the goblet that was falling at a high speed to the ground. With a flick of her wand the goblet started to shake into the air.
The golden metal turned into golden scales, it started growing and growing. Until there stood a big fire breathing dragon in the transfiguration courtyard.
"Not so much of a mudblood am I, Black."
