Waking up in a made up bed, fresh sheets and a girl screaming in your ear to get up, was something Aelori had to get used to.
"Get up, we will be late for your first lesson." Pandora told the girl.
Aelori got up and noticed that Pandora was already dressed. She had made a braid, filled up with different wildflowers.
Aelori quickly got on her feet and went to get ready for the day. She did her hair in a up and down hairstyle, leaving some hair falling from her eyes.
She picked up her robe, looking at it in disgust. It was cold outside, but she was really used to it.
"Pandora, can you hold this for a second?"
Pandora hummed and hopped on over to her, holding her cloak.
Aelori raised her wand and with a swift flick she changed her robes into a cloak. The sleeves disappeared, leaving only a sort of cape, with a hood attached to it. The outside stayed a solid black colour while the inside stayed the rich dark blue colour.
"You can do nonverbal spells?" Pandora asked in amazement.
"I can do a lot more." Aelori said back, giving her a slight wink. Leaving the girl with questions on her mind while she left the dorm.
Pandora quickly collected herself and followed her new friend through the walls.
A lot of people paid attention to the new girl of Hogwarts. A beautiful 6th year no one has ever seen. All the boys gushed over her, while some girls snarled at the attention she got.
Aelori felt the pressure, the feeling of eyes on her all the time. Nevertheless, she held up her head high and took every single step with grace.
"You should have been in Gryffindor." Pandora whispered in her ear while they walked into potions.
Aelori went to say something, but she got interrupted by the professor.
"Aaah," He began. "You must be Aelori Broze, our new student."
Aelori turned to the professor, her eyes met his and she saw the professor freeze in his steps. She raised her brows at him.
"I am Professor Slughorn, I am pleased to have you in this class."
The professor quickly made his way back to his station while Aelori followed Pandora to her desk.
"What is his deal?" Aelori asked Pandora, but someone else decided to respond.
Aelori saw Evan taking a seat on the station next to hers and Pandora's. Regulus reluctantly took a seat next to Evan, sending daggers to Aelori.
"Hey Lulu." Pandora waved at Regulus.
Aelori let out a snort at the nickname.
"Really, Lulu?" Aelori laughed at Regulus, who just snarled back at her.
"It is better then the Slytherin Prince." Evan said towards Aelori.
"Of course it is better, isn't it Lulu?"
Evan and Aelori started to laugh their asses off while Pandora watched them with a smile and Regulus with a frown on his face.
"Miss Broze and Mister Rosier, would you like to share something with the class?" Professor Slughorn asked, while every single person turned to them.
Evan and Aelori connected their eyes. They broke out in laughter, which got them kicked out of the classroom very fast. They could return when they have cooled down.
They now decided to walk outside beside the black lake. Watching some fish jump out of the water. Great way to start your first class of the year.
But Aelori already knew everything there is to know in spells, enchantments, potions, everything. And who are they going to report back to, her father is probably dead, just like her mother.
"So," Evan started. "How was your life before this, Broze."
"You can call me Aelori." Seeing his eyes go big made her question her choice of words. "Isn't that appropriate here in England?"
Evan let out a laugh at the girl. "No, not really. You only use their first name if your friends. Do you consider me a friend?"
"I am not sure." Aelori smiled at him. "You will have to pass my three tests of becoming my friend."
"What are they?" Evan asked eager. Even though he could already use her first name, that didn't mean that they were instant best friends.
"The first one is simple, have a decent conversation with me. I would say you crossed of that one, as we are having one now."
Evan pumped his fist in the air as a celebration, making Aelori laugh.
"Second, you will have to give me a decent compliment."
Aelori was at this point just making things up, just for fun. Evan obviously noticed that, but still went for it.
"I like your hair." He simply said, making her nod in approvement. "Also, your cloak, the one you made. And and, also when you beat Regulus in the hallway, badass I might say."
Aelori held up her hands, letting out a laugh. "Okay, okay. Don't fall in love with me, that will cross the friend line."
Evan watched her, both instantly started to laugh again.
"And the last one?" Evan asked the girl, watching her smile become bigger.
"You will have to get to know a secret of mine and keep it, never telling a soul under no circumstances."
The smile dropped, knowing that will be hard. The only secret he knows is about Regulus and his family, but every child in the sacred 28 knows what is going on in that house.
"Challenge accepted."
