Aelori held her stomach as she felt her feet collide with stone.
"First time apparating side to side?" Evan said with a gin on his face.
Aelori wanted to kick him, but couldn't as she felt the inside of her stomach starting to come up.
"Are you alright dear?" Mrs. Rosier asked the girl in concern.
Aelori held up her hand, not trusting her words. After swallowing some more did she straighten herself.
"I am fine, thanks."
Mrs. Rosier looked at her weirdly. It was very uncommon to talk like she did, especially towards a pure blood. She turned to Evan who nodded his head. Silently telling her that this is how she acts around anyone.
"Come along, I think Poppy has made a wonderful meal for us."
Mrs. Rosier took notice on how the girl didn't have any luggage with her, and she would ask Evan about it later.
They opened the front door of the mansion and with the direction of Evan did she find herself in her room for the break.
It had beautiful dark green colours that match her cloak. The four-poster bed stood before a big window with the garden in the background.
There was a closet that was empty and would not be filled with clothes.
In one of the corners stood a small desk with a very comfortable chair. There was another door to the side that lead to the bathroom.
The shelves against the wall littered with different books, which Aelori noticed that were all books written by magical people, not one muggle book in sight.
"How do you like it?" Evan asked the girl.
"I am fine with a couch, honestly." Aelori responded back with a smile, making the boy let out a small chuckle.
"Poppy had set up dinner, it will all be ready in a few minutes. Just settle in and walk straight down, take a left and you will find the dining room."
Aelori nodded at him and walked straight into the bathroom to freshen up herself. After she was done, she went on a literal hike towards the dining room.
"Hello miss Broze." She heard a small voice saying.
After looking around she looked down to see a creature she has never seen before, but in books. It had tattered clothing, but still a kind smile on her face.
"Who are you?" Aelori asked her.
"I am Poppy miss, I am the house elf."
"You are adorable." Aelori gushed over it and squatted down before her.
"Thank you miss." Poppy responded, another smile forming on her face.
Poppy moved her little feet a bit uncomfortable by the girl. Aelori made it seem as if they were on the same level in supremacy, but in little Poppy's head that wasn't right.
An witch like her should have people bowed to. Poppy found it even strange that her master didn't do that to the girl.
But she couldn't say anything, or she would end up dead. Like the last house elf.
Poppy eventually led Aelori towards the dining room that made the girl gasp at the interior.
Yes, she was used to her little cottage life, but she could get used to this.
Having a sweet little creature care for you. Having all the money you could ever spent and not worry about it.
Having that big chandelier hanging from the ceiling. A table full off chairs for people, but still eat with your family on one side.
"Hello." She greeted the Rosier family who were chatting away.
She took a seat next to Evan and began the feast.
They talked about school and activities. Aelori tried not to talk about how she got here, all she said to Evan's parents was that her mother had send her here, but forgot her money.
It was all shocking for the parents and Mrs. Rosier promised her that they would take her towards diagonally at once in the morning.
After dinner everyone went their own way.
Mr. and Mrs. Rosier were talking in the library room while Evan and Aelori were upstairs, happily chatting with each other.
"Do you think?" Mrs. Rosier began but was cut off by her husband.
"I think she is." He said, while looking through the window, watching the dark sky.
"What are we going to do?" Mrs. Rosier asked her husband again.
"You know what we will have to do, if they find out we kept her hidden we would be dead." Mr. Rosier said. "If we hand her over, we would be praised, we will get anything we want."
Mr. Rosier mind was all about all the glory he would receive, the praises, the money.
Mrs. Rosier had different things on her mind. Things she couldn't show to her husband, or it would end badly for her. She knew what the girl would face and the kind girl she had no idea what was coming for her.
Mrs. Rosier knew the girl wasn't ready for that.
But she doesn't know the story of Aelori Broze.
