"Which bet do you want to make?" Sehun showed no fear.
Jungkook responded directly, "If I win, you can't pester Lili anymore. Unless necessary, don't approach her to talk."
Sehun furrowed his brows, "When did I pester Lisa?"
Jungkook could not be bothered with him and said, "Just tell me if you agree or not. If you didn't pester her, what are you doing here now? Don't make excuses; appearing by her side is already pestering her."
"Fine!" Sehun's face turned serious, "But if I win, you have to leave Lisa immediately. Don't affect the reputation of the Manoban and Oh families. We are respectable people."
"Whether you are respectable or not, it's hard to say." Jungkook did not want to argue with him anymore. Since Sehun agreed, they might as well have a proper competition. This clingy fly needed to buzz off.
Both of them arrived at the starting point. Lisa whispered to Jungkook, "Don't force yourself; if you lose, you lose. We can just ignore it. He's just crazy, and you can't reason with him."
Jungkook smiled lazily; he did not expect Lisa to think he would renege on a bet. His smile was relaxed, "So, do you hope I win or lose?"
"Of course, I hope you win," Lisa replied, but in her heart, she added, 'Although you can't win either. I just hope you won't get hurt.'
"Then I'll win for you to see!" Jungkook's confidence showed as he spoke, and he looked at Lisa.
Lisa did not want to dampen his confidence; Sehun had studied horse riding back in school. How could Jungkook possibly win? He was swaying even now while riding a horse. However, she encouraged him sincerely, "Go ahead and win."
Then she took out her phone and searched: How to help a friend who suffered a major setback regain confidence?
Sehun watched Lisa and Jungkook talking so closely, not knowing what they were saying. He felt uncomfortable in that atmosphere and tried hard not to care. The reason he made this request was that he thought Lisa was wallowing in self-pity, embarrassing herself. Even though they were divorced, others still mentioned him as her ex-husband when they talked about her. He could not afford that reputation...
Soon, the signal to start the race sounded, and Jungkook's whole demeanor changed. He spurred the horse like a spring and shot forward.
Sehun was a bit slow to react; by the time he lifted his head, the two had already pulled some distance ahead. He was infuriated and gritted his teeth! He knew Jungkook was pretending not to know how to ride!
Lisa also froze; she was not stupid. Jungkook was clearly skilled in horse riding; why did he lie to her? Did he just want her to lead the horse for him?
The final outcome was beyond doubt, Jungkook won effortlessly. He turned his horse around, looking at Sehun with a cold voice, "You lost!"
Sehun's face grew darker; he knew Jungkook was pretending not to know how to ride a horse. However, being in front of so many people, he could not afford to lose face. He directly said, "I accept my loss."
"That's good. Don't pester Lili anymore," Jungkook said coldly.
Sehun snorted; when did he pester Lisa? It was clearly Lisa who often flaunted herself in front of him and even found another man to irritate him. Simply childish! "I never liked her in the first place, why would I pester her?"
"Yeah, I hope you keep your word." Jungkook raised an eyebrow with a smile, but there was no humor in his eyes. After saying this, he dismounted and walked towards Lisa, showing warmth in his eyes. "I won, you know." He was waiting for Lisa to praise him.
