"She wouldn't do something like this," Sehun tried to reassure himself, though he could not help but harbor suspicions. After all, he did not have many enemies, and the only person who seemed to want him dead was Lisa. Moreover, she had the means to do it. With her wealth, bribing a driver would be a piece of cake.

"I knew you wouldn't believe it," Madam Oh sighed. "I'll have Baekhyun continue to investigate. She won't let her get away with it..."

News of Sehun's car accident quickly spread within their social circles.

Bambam was not currently filming in a closed set. When he heard the news, he almost celebrated with fireworks, but he also worried about Lisa's condition. After all, Lisa had liked Sehun for over a decade. If something really happened to Sehun, she would have a hard time accepting it, right? He had just returned to the country and hadn't scheduled any work recently, so he could afford to take some time off. He decided to pick up his little sister after work.

Bambam wore a mask and a baseball cap, concealing himself thoroughly. It was a necessity; as an idol, without these precautions, he would surely attract a crowd of fans. That was just how captivating he was.

He stood by his car, holding a bouquet of flowers, waiting for Lisa to finish work. Even without seeing his face, Bambam's tall, fashionable figure exuded charisma. Coupled with his presence next to a luxury car, it was enough to make passing young girls blush and skip a heartbeat.

Lisa exited the building with her colleagues. At a glance, she recognized Bambam's car. After bidding her coworkers farewell, she walked over to the car. "Brother MO, why did you come here? And with flowers? Is there a special occasion today?"

Bambam handed her the bouquet of roses and put on a show, saying,

"Flowers for a beautiful lady, what a good match. I thought I'd invite Young Miss Manoban for dinner. Would you do me the honor?"

Lisa smelled the roses and smiled. "Well, I suppose I can reluctantly accept, but no cheap restaurants, okay?"

Bambam nodded playfully. He had already booked a restaurant in advance, and the two of them headed there. Once inside, he removed his mask and baseball cap. It was scorching outside, and he could not stand wearing them any longer.

Lisa looked around and said, "Are there paparazzi again today? I really don't want to have a nice dinner tonight and end up in the headlines tomorrow. I feel like I'm becoming a celebrity in the entertainment industry. What's going on with your entertainment industry? Is there no news anymore? I have some minor issues, and I end up trending..."' She did not really care, but it was starting to feel bothersome.

Bambam confidently patted his chest and assured her, "Don't worry, the security here is excellent, and ordinary people can't get in. They take this very seriously. As for you trending, I think you don't have a clear understanding of yourself. Who are you? You're the only daughter of the Manoban Group's main branch, beautiful and wealthy. The attention is well-deserved."

Lisa couldn't help but laugh. However, she couldn't entirely trust his chest-pounding assurances. The last time they both trended, he had made similar promises, and what happened? But since they were already here, she couldn't just turn back. She would make Bambam treat her to dinner, no matter what.

After ordering their food, Bambam tentatively asked, "Do you know about Sehun's situation?"

Lisa raised her head. "You mean his car accident?"

"You know about it?" Because Lisa was acting so normal and casual, Bambam thought she might not be aware of Sehun's car accident. He continued, "He had a car accident, and you didn't think about visiting him? I heard it was quite serious, and they almost didn't save him... But he's lucky, surviving a collision with a big truck. Trouble follows him like a shadow."
