Eunha trembled with anger but couldn't find words to refute because she had already calmed down. Even though Lisa was a discarded wife of a prominent family, she was still the legitimate granddaughter of the Manoban Corporation. Being watched by so many people, she felt a bit panicked.

Seeing her silence, Jungkook had no intention of letting her go. "Everyone knows what kind of person you and your husband are. Why embarrass yourselves in public? The Jung family is involved in public relations and holds a prominent position. They shouldn't be lacking in intelligence. I hope you won't ruin everything with your actions!"

With that, he took Lisa's hand and walked away.

Being pointed at and talked about by others, Eunha felt her face losing its luster. Especially when she thought about the potential consequences her words could have on the Jung family's public relations company, her father and elder brother would definitely punish her severely! Just the fact that the Jung family arranged for her to marry Zhu Shao indicated that she held no status within her own family. Thinking about this, she could not bear to stay any longer and hurriedly ran out of the banquet hall.

When Lisa turned around, she saw Sehun standing by her side, not knowing when he had arrived, coldly observing the situation like everyone else.

With just one glance, Lisa shifted her gaze away, and Jungkook led her by the hand to the open balcony. The slight warmth from his hand spread from her palm all the way to her heart.

Jungkook let go of her hand. "Are you alright?"

She had to admit that this person was quite intimidating when he didn't smile. Mostly because he had never appeared like this before, or rather, she had forgotten about it amidst the complexities of their past lives, almost as if it had been erased from her memory.

Lisa shrugged her shoulders. "I'm fine. If you hadn't come over, I could have said a few more hurtful things to her."

Jungkook chuckled lightly. "Then I would have been in your way."

She pretended to snort. "Good to know."

Jungkook approached her, and they were standing very close. As she looked up, she bumped into his embrace. His dark, calm eyes gazed at her, smiling as always.

Lisa was almost blinded by his smile. How come she had not noticed before that Jungkook was so charming when he smiled?

Jungkook's low laughter spread in her ears. "What? Have I captivated you?"

Lisa snapped out of it, no longer flustered. "I've seen you since childhood; I've long been tired of it."

It was truly a pity. She had almost been deceived by his beauty.

As she took a step back, Jungkook took a step forward, embracing her delicate waist and leaning close to her ear with a husky, ambiguous voice. "You used me to make your ex-husband jealous. Don't you find it a pity? I think we can try to go a step further."

Lisa smiled. "Last time, didn't you say it was your first time? Should I take responsibility for it? How about now? Are you sure you can satisfy me if we go further?"

Jungkook sighed. "You are such a demanding woman."

She pushed him away. "Let's go inside; it's getting cold outside."

Jungkook did not overly linger.

Sehun watched the two of them enter, his expression dark and inscrutable.

Nancy pulled him. "Sehun, why are you so absent-minded?"

"It's nothing." Sehun shook his head, forcing himself to stop focusing on Lisa, but he could not calm down.
