Lisa was straightforward, "I didn't come to visit you." There was no need for false pleasantries between her and Sehun.
Sehun's slightly improved mood plummeted instantly. "Do you have something to discuss?"
Lisa got straight to the point, "Oh Corporation has been interfering with a project of Manoban Corporation lately. I can't recall doing anything to offend you recently, so why would you block my financial path? Business should be a two-way street; there's no need for such trouble. Does it make sense for you to harm others without benefiting yourself?
"I haven't..." Sehun began but suddenly remembered something. He couldn't handle this matter conveniently at the hospital, so he delegated some of his authority to his mother. He recalled his mother's suspicion that Lisa might be behind the car accident. "This matter should be my mother's doing."
Lisa recalled the previous incident when Madam Oh had come to her home to question her about the car accident. She could not fathom how someone so thoughtless could manage a corporation and not be sidelined by others. She might not consider herself exceptionally wise, but she was certainly more capable than Madam Oh, right? Lisa was at a loss for words and, after a moment of silence, asked, "Can you make her stop?"
In reality, she had other ways to deal with this, but this was the quickest. Besides, she had donated a considerable amount of blood to save Sehun's life, so she felt this request was not unreasonable.
Sehun was about to agree when Lisa's phone rang. She glanced at it and saw that it was Jungkook. She said, "Sorry, I need to take this call."
She walked to the window and answered, "What's wrong... I'm at the hospital right now, not very convenient to chat..."
Jungkook remained silent for a few seconds, then asked, "Visiting your grandfather? Or Sehun?"
"Sehun... It's not exactly a visit, I'm looking for him to-
"Well, you go ahead and do what you need to do." Lisa was interrupted by Jungkook before she could finish her sentence.
After ending the call, Lisa stared at the disconnected phone in a daze. She suddenly remembered that when Sehun had just had the accident, she had fainted from anemia, and Jungkook's attitude in the hospital room at that time was somewhat similar to his current tone...
Sehun, seeing her lost in thought after the call, asked with a deep gaze, "Who was that?"
Lisa gathered her thoughts and returned to the bedside, casually saying, "Jungkook." She did not see any need to hide this matter.
Upon hearing that name, Sehun's face turned completely dark. "You've been having a great time while I've been in the hospital, haven't you?" He was in the hospital, and Lisa hated him so much that she probably cheered every day, right? And she was probably spending all her time with Jungkook, wasn't she? Sehun's hand on the bed tightened abruptly.
Lisa's previous response had been offhand; she did not think there was any need to continue the conversation with Sehun. "Let's get back to our previous topic..."
Sehun interrupted her. "I can't help you. Doesn't Jungkook like to meddle in your affairs? You lie in bed with him, so why bother coming to me?" Lisa's face also turned unpleasant. "You should watch your words!"
Sehun was so angry that his whole body trembled, and it seemed like his wound might have reopened, as blood began to seep out. "You've had an abortion, and you want me to watch my words? Why don't you take a look at what you've done..."
Lisa glanced at him, frowned, and thought about calling a nurse. However, from the way he looked, he seemed to consider her presence unnecessary. She simply said, "I've already explained this to you. I was handling the paperwork for someone else... Ah, forget it! I shouldn't have come today. Rest assured, I won't bother you anymore, Mr. Oh."
