Upon hearing Lisa's voice, Jungkook lowered his gaze. He hadn't done anything after all. He pushed Mina aside and withdrew his hand in silence.
Mina's hand was hurting so much that she did not dare to move, and her body was still trembling. But no one paid any attention to her.
Lisa was only wearing a thin dress, which was now mostly wet. Jungkook tried to make his voice sound gentler. "Feeling cold?"
"It's alright," Lisa replied, looking at him. She felt that over the past year, Jungkook had changed a lot.
One of Bambam's friends also spoke up, "I remember President Oh is quite familiar with the hotel owner. How about we ask someone to arrange a room for Miss Manoban to change her clothes? Although the weather isn't very cold, staying wet might cause her to catch a chill."
There was a momentary silence in the air after he finished speaking. He suddenly realized what he had said, intending to be friendly, but it seemed to have backfired.
Sehun, who was being pestered by a few people trying to curry favor with him, heard this and looked over. He said quietly, "Her matters have nothing to do with me."
Lisa sneered, "Of course, it's nothing to do with you. If you did care about me, I'd be disgusted."
For a moment, the air was filled with an even stronger tension.
Jungkook composed himself and said, "I've booked the presidential suite in this hotel for a year. You can go to my room to change."
Lisa nodded.
And so, the two of them left like that.
Seeing them about to leave together, Sehun's heart skipped a beat. He uncontrollably called out. "Wait."
Jungkook cast him a sideways glance. "President Oh, what advice do you have?"
Sehun opened his mouth, wanting to say that he could arrange it, but it seemed untimely to say so now. He tightened his grip on the wine glass. "It's fine."
"He's nuts!" Lisa could not help muttering before picking up her pace and walking away.
Bambam was worried, so he briefly informed the others and then went after her.
However, Mina somehow found the strength, using her uninjured hand to grab Bambam. "Brother MO, I didn't mean it just now. I was just anxious. Please don't be mad at me..."
"Don't call me that!" Bambam shook off her hand. "We're not close." He had initially thought that due to her admiration for him, she might have done a few things, and he intended to overlook it. But she had been getting more and more excessive, which did not deserve any pity. He warned, "Today's matter isn't over. You wait for me." After saying that, he turned and left.
Sehun stood among the crowd, watching them leave one after another. His emotions were becoming even more inscrutable.
Lisa came out in different clothes, and Bambam asked, "Are you going back to the private room?"
Lisa waved her hand. "I'll just go home. It's not good to be out today."
Bambam sympathized, "Don't worry, leave Mina's matter to me." Afterward, he looked at Jungkook. "Could you please take my sister back?" Jungkook's expression remained mild. "Sure, don't worry."
Bambam looked at him and found him much more agreeable than Sehun, that insufferable man. "You helped Lili today. Consider me owing you a favor. If you need anything in the future, feel free to reach out."
"Sounds good."
The next day.
Bambam had not adjusted to the time difference yet, and coupled with last night's gathering, he slept until noon. He was finally awakened by the doorbell. Getting out of bed, he pressed the intercom. To his surprise, the visitor was Mina.
