Taehyung had a wry smile on his face. Indeed, he was not a stranger; he was her family, the person least likely to stand by her side. He took out a tissue and wiped her mouth. "You're always so impulsive. What will you do about marriage in the future? You don't even know how to take care of yourself."
"Well, then you should keep an eye on me and find someone as caring as you. Besides, I'm not in a rush to get married. What's so great about marriage? I'll live the way I live now in the future," Jennie said. Glancing at the face so close to her and couldn't help but compliment, "Big Brother, you're really handsome, and you're so gentle with a good personality. I wonder who will be lucky enough to be your wife; I envy her."
"If you envy it, then you..." Taehyung stopped mid-sentence.
Jennie took a sip of water and looked up, asking, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, let's eat." Taehyung picked up his chopsticks and served her some food, urging her to eat quickly.
Lisa had taken Jungkook out for dinner, thinking of celebrating together. After all, it was a good thing for Jungkook to leave behind the shadows of the past and start riding horses again. However, their good mood did not last long, as someone interrupted them.
A woman directly blocked their way, looking arrogant. "Oh, isn't this Miss Manoban? It's been a long time..."
Lisa looked at the person; it was Eunha, the one who had been embarrassed by Jungkook last time and turned red with anger. She dared to come forward again? Facing Eunha, she calmly said, "Long time no see."
Eunha looked at Lisa and the man beside her with a hint of hatred in her eyes. The last time these two made her lose face in front of so many people, she had never forgotten. She sarcastically said, "I'm straightforward with my words, Miss Manoban, don't take offense. I remember you've only been divorced from Mr. Oh for a little over a month, and you're already dating a new man. Isn't that a bit heartless?"
Lisa smiled elegantly, "It's been more than a month. Time goes by quickly, and compared to your husband, who changes partners several times in one day, it's not too bad, right?"
"You..." Eunha gritted her teeth in anger. What could she say? Lisa could not confront her without mentioning her husband?
Lisa took a few steps back, remembering that she had just caught a glimpse of a man sitting opposite Eunha. He seemed a bit familiar. "I wonder why Miss Jung is attending this banquet? Who is that person next to you? I feel like I've seen him somewhere before."
Mentioning the man who came with her, Eunha's expression became somewhat unnatural. "He's just a friend."
"Oh..." Lisa dragged her tone and did not continue.
Eunha felt a bit nervous. Her husband was known for his indulgence in vices, and who knew if he would meet a tragic fate one day? Since her family was not helping her, she naturally had to find other potential supporters. The man she brought today was a wealthy and eligible bachelor she had managed to hook.
However, she had not expected to encounter Lisa here. If Lisa went over and talked nonsense, all her efforts would go to waste. Thinking of this, she regretted stopping Lisa.
Just by Eunha's look, Lisa already knew what she meant. However, she did not bother to pay attention to it and just smiled gently. "Miss Jung, you and I aren't close. We don't need to greet each other when we meet."
Eunha stared at Lisa but did not dare to say anything more, fearing Lisa might say something incriminating.
Lisa finally sat down to dine with Jungkook, undisturbed. After a pleasant dinner, when Lisa stood up to go to the restroom, Eunha kept an eye on her. When she saw Lisa leave, she quickly got up and went to the corner to find a waiter. "Go tell the male guest at table number 9 that his female companion fell in the restroom, ask him to go check on her."
