You opened up your umbrella as you stepped out of the health clinic that was located on campus. You looked at the package the doctor gave you and tucked it in your purse, making sure it wouldn't fall out. You knew that the pills would come in handy, especially when in college and meeting new people. You had to make sure you was safe from any diseases or other unexpected things.

You started to walk back to your dorm carefully. The rain started to turn into a drizzle. In your pocket, your phone began to vibrate. Flashing on the screen was your brother's name. You instantly smiled and answered without hesitation.

"It's been way to long." You said seriously, but smiling at the same time. On the line, your brother chuckled. "Sorry sis. How's everything? How did your classes go?"

"It's fine. Same old, same old. I have an audition for Macbeth later on today. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous."

"Shakespeare? Oh my god, wow sis," On his line of the phone, you could hear loud shuffling and people talking. "Don't worry, you're gonna kill it!" He said a bit overexcited. To you, it seemed weird. Your brother was never that excited for something pertaining to you. He was always happy for you, but not that happy.

The noise continued to blare through the phone line. "Are you busy?" You asked him.

"Um, yes and no." "Bryan, let's go. It's time to get off the plane." Someone said in the background. It sounded like one of his male friends.

"Plane? You're traveling again?!" You asked him, surprised. "Where you at?"

"I'll tell you later. I gotta go, bye!" He said as he hung up. You sighed and stuck your phone back in your pocket. By the time your call with your brother ended, you were close to your dorm room. You made it to were you could close your umbrella and walk under the shade of the building. Entering inside the cool dorm building, you hung your umbrella on a rack and headed up the stairs, stopping midway when your phone begun to ring again. This time it was someone you didn't expect to call; Justin.

Taking a big gulp, you pressed the answer button and lifted the phone to your ear. On the line, you could hear him breathing. You didn't want to be the first person to say anything, so you just waited to see what he was going to say. In a matter of three seconds, you heard his familiar singsongy voice fill your ear.

"Hey,"

You didn't know why exactly you were blushing. His voice washed over relief inside of you, like you needed to hear his voice or see him. From your memory, you remembered that the last time you saw him, he comforted you when you got robbed. It was an unpleasant memory, but you were extremely thankful that he was there. When you arrived at your mom's house that evening, Justin already had told her what happened, but he wasn't around so you could thank him again. Your mom had mixed emotions about the whole thing.

"Hi Justin, how are you?" You started to walk back again once you two started to actually talk. "I'm missing you. I feel like I haven't seen you in ages. How are you holding up, doll?"

"I'm okay, and I miss you too," You admitted as you unlocked the door to your dorm. It was quiet and a bit cold. You walked in, closed the door, then turned down the A.C. "I miss mom too. How is she?"

"She's fine. What are you doing tonight?" He quickly changed the subject. You brushed it off and responded back to him. "Going to an audition in an hour and then just probably staying in for the night."
