"Damn, it's like I live on a plane." You mumbled as you plopped down in the seat besides the window. It was finally the day of the trip to Amsterdam with Quinn, Roxie, your mom, and Justin, the uninvited one. Roxie and Quinn were hesitant at first, but came around when they noticed Justin was around their age and good looking.
Roxie slipped her purse in the compartment over the seat and looked back at you, frowning. "What?" You asked her, confused. Quinn, your mother, and Justin were walking down the aisle to find their seats. "One of us has to sit with a stranger." Quinn stopped in front of you both, hesitant to pick the seat with Roxie and the one with you. "This is a test of your friendship." Roxie joked.
"Go ahead and sit with Roxie. I'll be fine." You assured her. Quinn didn't move a muscle. "Are you sure?" She asked you. You nodded. "Yeah. Sit down."
As she sat down, Justin popped up from behind her. "Is this seat taken?" He wiggled his eyebrows playfully.
"Go sit next to my mom, besides, she's the reason why you're coming on this trip."
"Whoa now doll, don't let your jealousy show."
You sighed as he planted down in the seat next to you. You didn't know what to say around him. His persona was completely different from what any random person would think. Instead of going for girls around his age, Justin was into older women. He wasn't much older than you either, which made it uncomfortable for you, and to even take him seriously. In fact, you couldn't even take your mom seriously.
The plane ride consisted of Justin bugging you, him switching seats between you and your mother, and constant talking from Roxie. You took a mental note to make sure you took a long nap for the plane ride home.
After getting a short tour of Amsterdam, you all arrived to your hotel rooms. You, Roxie and Quinn were sharing one room while your mother and Justin had their own separate rooms. You all went into your rooms to unpack, but Justin blocked you before you could slip into your room.
"Look, I know you're not too keen of me coming on this trip." He said as his body trapped you between the wall and himself. You nodded, folding your arms. "Yeah, why are you on this trip?"
"To impress your mom." He grinned. Pieces of his brown hair fell over his eyes as he looked at you. His attractiveness was was extremely high. "Why are you wasting your time on my mother? You could get any girl your age, but instead, you're running after my mother."
"Most of the girls around my age are dumb as fuck. All they want is a hook up. Nothing more."
You scoffed and push him away from you. "You're being very hypocritical right now." His bushy eyebrows rose up at your statement. "How so?"
"Because. A lot of boys do the same thing, and I'm pretty sure you've done it too." You said as you looked away from him angrily. His body pressed up against you even more now. "No," his hot but minty breath hit your skin sharply, "I'm not like that." You turned your head back towards him, shocked. Your head dropped down, disappointed in yourself. You judged him.
Before you could apologize to him, you felt his soft, warm lips connect with yours. Shocked even more now, you didn't move. Thoughts about being caught spread around your mind like a wildfire. Why is he doing this?! You thought. You blocked away thoughts of how he was a good kisser away as you pushed him away from you.
"What the fuck was that?!" You whispered-yelled at him. You wiped your lips with the back of your hands violently as though you were trying to get rid of the kiss you both shared. On the other hand, Justin was in a daze. His eyes didn't look your way.
"Justin?" You whispered at him again. He ignored you as he started to walk to his room, quietly. Confused as to what was wrong with him, you walked into your room with your eyebrows furrowed and a light blush on your face.

"I knew I should have called him." Roxie sighed as you all passed by the tenth couple down the street in Amsterdam. You, Roxie, and Quinn were walking ahead of your mom and Justin as you all were sightseeing. Justin haven't spoken or looked at you since the kissing accident. Roxie held up her phone to take a quick selfie of herself and sending it to her on and off boyfriend. On the other side of you, Quinn sighed. "I wish I had a significant other."
You frowned at her comment. You and Derek weren't really talking, and it depressed you. He was one of your best friends. Maybe you two shouldn't have dated in the first place.
"Guys," you said as you glanced at them both, "Can we not talk about our love lives? We're in Amsterdam, we need to have fun and enjoy ourselves."
"Y/N is right. We didn't come here to mope around." Quinn agreed.
"We can go to the sex museum." Justin piped in, grinning at all of you. Oh now he wants to pipe in. Your mother pulled Justin back to her. "Let's go to the Van Gogh Museum." Roxie nodded her head furiously, "Great idea."
As you all took a taxi to the museum, your phone ringed. Noticing that it was Derek calling, you instantly picked up. "Hey..."
"I'm sorry for being a douche lately, it's just that my family is going through some rough times and I don't know how to deal with it. I know I shouldn't take it out on you and ruin our relationship."
"Derek you don't have to apologize. You should have just told me what was going on, I would have understood." Justin glanced at you from the front of the car when you said Derek's name. You ignored him as you looked out the window, still talking to Derek. Meanwhile, your mother started up a conversation with Justin and the girls.
"Can we talk about this in person?" He asked as you gave all your attention back to him. You let out a deep breath knowing that you two were fine again. "Yeah, but when? We won't see each other soon."
"That's what you think." Derek said. You could practically hear him smiling through the phone. "I'm on my way to Amsterdam with my parents."
You gasped loudly, gaining the attention of everyone in the taxi, including the driver. You placed the phone on your chest. "Oh, um, nothing's wrong." You blushed. Everyone went back into their conversation while Justin's gaze lingered on you for a bit. The driver announced that you all were at the destination.
"I'll see you soon Derek!" You said before ending the call with him. Justin paid the driver and you all got out the taxi. Justin waited for your mom and the girls to start walk ahead of the both of you. "Your boyfriend's coming?!" He asked with a bit of harshness in his voice. You shrugged. "Think so, why? Do you have a problem with that?"
"Hmph." Justin walked up to catch up with your mom. When he did, he threw an arm over her shoulder. You could see your mother turn her head to Justin and smile, making you frown at the both of them in the process. Pushing the thoughts of Justin out of your head, you caught up with Roxie and Quinn. You wanted to appreciate the art and take your mind off of the things that have been running through your head.
Let's try to make this a great vacation, You said over and over again in your head; but it was too late for that.
