Tara Locke had done her time and now was out on parole. She made a beeline to Genoa City with only one mission in sight, her son. She was determined to get her son back; Kyle and Summer be damned. She had been informed by her lawyers that Ashland was dead; pity she would really miss him. The blessing came from his lawyers who told her that he never updated his will. Everything was left to her except for a small trust fund for Harrison. Smirking, she snuck back into town and prepared herself for her grand entrance; watch out Kyle, your past is coming for you.
After a couple of days, she left her suite to follow Harrison. She missed her son and hoped that soon she wouldn't have to watch him from afar. Gathering up her courage, she sent an anonymous message to Marchetti asking for a meeting with the CEO. Pretending to be a prospective buyer, she schemed her way into Kyle's office. The next step of her plan was to see if her old friend Sally was still in town, she needed a partner in crime.
Kyle sat at his desk trying to keep up with some paperwork. He knew that he had a meeting starting soon and was curious as to why this person would only meet with him. His questions were answered when his assistant told him that the buyer was here. The young CEO stood up from his desk with a smile that turned into a frown when he saw who walked in. Tara pretended to be shocked that Kyle wasn't thrilled to see her.
"What? You can't show the mother of your child any love?" Tara quipped sarcastically at him.
Kyle was too stunned at first to respond, then found his voice, "When did you get out of prison? And why on Earth would you come here?" he stammered.
Tara rolled her eyes, "Please that's all you have to say." She huffed in annoyance, "I got out a couple of weeks ago. I paid for my crimes and now I am here for one reason, my son."
"You are going nowhere Harrison. You have proved to not be a great mother. Why would I want you near my son?'
"Didn't he get kidnapped on your watch Kyle? In my estimation, that doesn't make you a great father. And he isn't just your son, he is our son. Yours and mine. I have rights and I will take your spoiled ass to court if I have too."
"Court?!" Kyle arrogantly scoffed. "With what money?"
"Oh, you didn't hear? Ashland never updated his will after our divorce. He left me his entire estate, minus a trust fund for Harrison. And last I checked his estate was worth about seven billion dollars. That is more money than you have, right?"
The color had drained from Kyle's face; he had no idea about the contents of Locke's will. His lawyer had mentioned that Harrison had been left something, and he told the lawyer to take care of it. Tara smirked at the pained expression on Kyle's face; her work here was done for now.
"You'll be hearing from my attorneys." Tara said as she gathered her stuff to leave. "Bye Kyle, it was wonderful seeing you again." Tara marched back out of the office; she had another stop to make; leaving a stunned Kyle in her wake. Kyle ran to his phone to call his lawyer and then Summer, they had a war to prepare for.
