Noah Newman was riding high from his sister's wedding. The feelings he thought that he had for Tessa were long gone; he had realized that he was projecting the feelings from his last relationship onto Tessa and that he had never fully dealt with all the emotions from both relationships. He saw the love between Mariah and Tessa and was genuinely happy for them. The couple had fought for so long to be together, and it was an honor to be there to celebrate their love. However, watching the truly in love couple made him feel so alone. Not that he missed his ex-girlfriend because he knew that he was better off without her, but he did miss having someone in his life.

Sighing, he entered Crimson Lights to grab his usual morning coffee. He had just ordered when he heard his name being called. Noah turned to see Jack Abbott with a young Asian girl at his side smiling at him. Confused, but always happy to see Jack, the young Newman walked over to greet them.

"Hey Jack! How are you?" Noah politely asked his former stepfather.

"Doing good." Jack responded. Turning his attention to Allie, Jack introduced her to Noah, "Noah, I would like to introduce you to my granddaughter, Allie. Allie this is Noah Newman. He is the son of Nick and Sharon and Mariah's brother." He explained, hoping that she would remember some of the people she met at the wedding the other night. Allie nodded in recognition.

Throwing a smile on his face Noah extended his hand to shake Allie's. "So nice to meet you, Allie. How are you liking Genoa City so far?" he asked.

Allie smiled at him, shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you as well. I am really liking it here so far, thank you for asking." She felt herself blush under his gaze; he was cute in her defense. Noah caught her blushing and smirked, it felt good to know that he had that effect on someone. The two were awkwardly laughing and flirting, completely forgetting where they were and who they were with. Jack picked up on this and left the potential couple alone. He said his goodbyes, but the young people barely heard or acknowledged it. Jack grinned to himself as he left Crimson Lights to get to Jabot.

"So are you just visiting or are you sticking around?" Noah asked praying it was the second one.

"I'm here until my grandfather asks me to leave." Allie joked. "Seriously though, there was nothing keeping me in Los Angeles and I had this new family to meet. It was a no-brainier."

"How's it been with the Abbotts? From my brief experience as an Abbott, they were always nice." Noah kept coming up with questions just so he could keep talking to her.

"Brief experience? What does that mean?" Noah's wording confused the chemistry major.

"Oh, um my mother was married to Jack for a couple years." Noah explained. "It was a long time ago, like a long time. But he's definitely my favorite ex-stepfather." He further explained upon seeing the stunned look on Allie's face.

"My grandfather never told me that. Interesting, but nice to know he was a good stepfather." Allie mused. "But just for my own curiosity, how many stepfathers have you had?"

"Um, 3. Jack, Rey, and Adam. Adam who is my uncle Adam. Rey is my mother's husband. Oh no 4, I forgot when Mom married my grandpa. Or rather I suppressed it." Noah started nervously rambled. "And I've had 2 stepmothers. Phyllis I think you met her and Sage she died. My father's also been engaged a few  times including to my mother, but none of those worked out for him." He awkwardly finished.

Allie stared at Noah with a blank expression trying to process everything she'd just heard. Noah's parents had been married multiple times or engaged. Sharon married her children's uncle and their grandfather? What was in the water of this town? Noah was looking worried, like he had scared her off. She quickly needed to say something.

"That's um interesting." Allie responded not sure of what else to say.

"I scared you didn't I?" Noah was truly terrified that she was going run away from him screaming. "I'm so sorry. Let me never speak of my family again."

"It's fine." Allie giggled and it was the most beautiful sound he'd ever heard. "It was just a lot to take in all at once. But seriously Noah, I'm not scared." He lied, her saying his name was the most beautiful sound he'd heard. "In fact I'd love a tour of the city if you have time."

"For you? Anything" Noah held out his arm for her to grab wearing the largest smile she'd seen. Returning that smile, she grabbed his arm and let him take her on a sightseeing tour.
